No more appliances?

Good morning everyone.
I got to level 77, and I can put in the bakery 18 appliances.
In the design box it says "You have received the maximum number of appliances. There are no more appliances" and "Unlock now for 49 gems."
What happens if I unlock, using the gems?
Appliances will be forever unlimited, or I'll unlock only for one appliance?

For 49 gems, you'll unlock only 1 appliance slot, and will have 19. Another 49 gems will give you 20.

You'll have more food than you want in BS, as the recipe yields are high. I have 18 appliance slots and its fine. I have a couple of million plates of food.
