Buying stuff before a goal is given

Hello, when I saw that we had some new item options, I started going to town redecorating. Shortly after I had installed all new wallpaper, up pops a goal to buy 8 of those suckers! I guess I should have known better, now I am stuck! :( Is there any way I can fix this without using gems to skip it?

It's always a good idea to wait when you see new decor to see if a goal pops up, or just don't fill your restaurant walls or floor completely with the new items.
TL just recently changed it recently so you could buy any wallpaper, thank goodness. And, thanks TL for doing that for players who are too excited about updates and redecorating. Now can you please remove the useless purple bulb & flyer from gifts so I won't continue to get inundated with them each day from players who have no clue that they are useless since there's no buildable to use them on.
