How long before the sheep gives wool?

I happened upon a sheep. How long before it gives wool? I've had it for a week now and check a few times a day.

Mine started giving wool as soon as it became an adult.

How often do you feed it? You need to feed it 10 times, and since it takes 4 hours in between feeds, i think i had mine for 4-5 days before it reached adulthood
