Was not given anything for 'Feed The Baron'

The title holds. I watched the green check sign turn into a blue plus sign but no item was dispensed, and none was in my inventory. What's up with that? He's such a jerk that sometimes he just doesn't feel like rewarding you?

Ive fed him four times. Glimmerdust x1 twice, jewel x1, and a fancy block. He could be nicer but he is the bad guy. I think the nicest ive heard of him giving is a wisp lantern.

It seems that sometimes he gives a favour which doesnt appear in the inventory. At this stage we don't what it's for.
