Trouble with Dragon Stable

I bought a stable and I have only managed to get one dragon in it and I'm not quite sure how I managed that. Every time I tried to place one and Haiti the storage icon, it would just go into my storage book and not saving anything. Now it just says my stable is full, even though there is only one dragon in it. Has anyone else had this problem? I play on an iPhone.
