Don't have Bubble and Hypnotic. Tried pink - Justice 8 and Kite 7 lost against Helios 9.
Maybe I should try Luck instead of Hypnotic...

I suggest go for colors that work.
Bubble = Pink/Blue(rare)
Hypnotic = White/Purple (rare)

Yes Luck is white/Purple, common.

How much longer will the regular arena continue to charge us 30 gold for the Ultimate attack and 4 gold to speed the 1-hour gate? Will it ever return to the regular pricing of 6 gold per Ultimate attack and 1 gold per hour to speed the gate?

We are sure you have some sane and reasonable explanation for this.

The 30 gold was only for the 5/6 day Special Arena Fights. I guess they have yet to adjust it back, may take a while ......after the recent hiccup.

Or red and white dragons.

HELP!!!!!!!! Every time I win a round, it says Rewards: And then nothing. I go to my storage and it says that I have gained 1 leviathan pearl. Since I'm at 98, that's just enough for me to male the Leviathan dragon. Then the Fruitful Processing symbol comes on, and I am back to 98 leviathan pearls, and no leviathan dragon, but it says that I've beaten the arena dragon, and it has the loading sign for the next round.

What have you guys used against Night Elf (16)??? I've only seen reports of success with Atlantis and Crusader in this forum and exhausted both those. I've beat it before with Forest, but lost 2x with forest (8) and (10) this time. I've exhausted many green and/or white dragons. . I'm pretty sure dragon level is a factor. Attack choice effect seems to be random too as early success was with magic, but not so effective now.

It seems a bit hypocritical to be a "dragon caretaker" and have Team Lava spout all this touchy freely stuff about how the dragons think and love and behave and are kind, etc. Then we drag them like animals into a dog fight ring and force them to fight..... ? what the heck is happen to my tournament??? why the tournament countdown gone... im on level 30 already and battling phoenix and when the time i was to beat the phoenix and suddenly the screen say processing and when i open again DS apps the tournament was gone and theres no phoenix dragon in my storage too... anybody knows how to contact Teamlava regarding this problem!!!! omg its totally a nightmare to me.... hope it will solve immediately before the tourney ends...

Try closing your game (so it's not running in the background). You can also try deleting and reinstalling (your game is saved on TLs servers so this is safe). If those don't work you can email support@teamlava.com.

It's totally worthless to even try & conact TL about any problem we have with their games. I have been having trouble with the tourament resetting when I have half of them won. It reset on me the last one also. I have sent an e-mail & also responded to the auto one they send out saying that I'm STILL waiting for an answer. They say to give them 72 hrs. It's been a week now. My suggestion is to just play the game & NOT put any money into it at all!! That way if something goes wrong, your not out a dime!! I'm about fed up with TL games.

I have like 80 pearls from the tournament. I crafted leviathan after only three or four battles (well, i had to complain that my game was stuck ans i was not receiving my 99th pearl, but they fixed it).
Buut I don't feel like i wanna battle again anytime soon, after the reset. :( and i still have 22 dragons to heal...

I didn't see it listed anywhere so I figured I would post it because this high level Planet Dragon took out 6 of my dragons before I finally tried Mindvolt (honestly I picked him as a last resort and he destroyed the Planet Dragon)- My Level 6 Mindvolt Dragon took out a Level 12 Planet Dragon easily. About 90% damage with a Magic Hit and either Bash or Magic would have taken him the rest of the way out.

I must say, I just discovered that Air dragon is a really good fighter. Here is a list of my best fighters:

Nope, the ones I had from before the tournament were about 80 as well. 86 i believe.
Remember I had to repeat the tournament, it reset me on level 27... Against helios. Well, at least I earned the gold all over again, too. Lulz.

Since half my island is exhausted, I'm not fighting until they're all good, since some of my best fighters need healing still

well, you just have to take a fairy dragon and ride it to tralalalaladiday land. There you'll have to battle the Cookie Monster, so make sure your Fairy is Epic. Then you have to steal the Arena keys, and some wood, some steel, some cement. Because you need to build the Arena yourself. The keys are just for show 'cause you don't really have a lock for them, so use them as earrings or something pretty.
Then add some flags and get a fireworks dragon a-workin' to set those sparkles alive and you're good to go.

Kidding. ;) if you're iOS the arena should be floating there in the air, as will the quest outpost be hanging on the edge of your topmost island. If they're not you need to update to the latest DS version.
But if you're on android,I'm sorry but the arena is not available... :(

Maybe red is strong against Ice Age type dragons? Kooky beat one with Forestfire, I've done it with a Landworm and Aceblade used an Athletic. I know it's a too small sample to draw conclusions from but it would make sense since fire melts ice.

Since we don't know the strengths and weaknesses (assuming there are any) of the three Arctic elements, the PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD is to gather information on island champions that have beaten Arctic challengers in the arena.
Bear in mind that victors over these challengers are not necessarily the champions with the best colors or odds. We are only seeking to MAYBE recognize some pattern of dominance, and offer suggestions to players who prefer not to randomly select champions.
Please don't ask for suggestions on specific dragons. Just post your NON-ULTIMATE victories and search the thread for any Arctic challenger that's bugging you.

Note: Dragons currently living on our Arctic Isles are not enabled for battle, although the arena is presenting us with Arctic challengers.
Many players have noted that odds of winning in general seem to have been reduced since the debut of the prize dragon, Gladiator. This may be one reason that Arctics seem harder to beat; the other reason is we just don't know which colors are best against them.

Caesar is white/yellow/green.
So I guess Black and red not advisable.
I would try a Pink like Virtue, Kisune, Naga.

I downloaded the World War Games and played a few rounds, level 4 or so. After that I was able to transfer to my new Device.
There is a feature that allows us to do so which opens up after a few rounds. In doing so all the Team Lava games get transferred to the New Device as well.

I haven't had any of the Artic dragons yet but I know what you mean about the other dragons. Even Common dragons are ALOT harder for me to beat than the Diamond hybrids which is what I have had so far. I'm currently battling Poison and it has taken down my Origami. I think I'm going to hold off for a while because I have at least 8 dragons that need to be healed before a Tournament pops up. Wish my battles had started with Artic.

My epic big bad defeated a level 11 sasquatch with a bash and a magic. The next turn, i fought ANOTHER sasquatch but level 13; my big bad lost.
I had to fight the lvl 13 sasquatch again, so I was gonna pick fairytale but I mistakenly chose rainbow instead. I was rather shocked when I landed a one-hit KO with a bash. XD

I am no longer receiving Leviathan Pearls. The last one I received was along with the Morningstar in Round 29 of the tournament. In 2 regular battles since the tournament, I received just the single Morningstar. Hopefully, that means the Ultimate fee in the regular arena has gone back to 6 gold instead of 12, but I didn't notice.

It looks like the sun may soon be setting on Leviathan. I have 2 pearls left in storage after managing to craft yet another one this dragon. 101 pearls earned AFTER Leviathan was removed from the market; so hopefully every player who wanted one has collected 99 pearls by now.

A few weeks ago the cost for an Ultimate went up from 6 to 12 gold. At the time we were told it was done because we were getting double reward (a Morningstar and Leviathan Pearl). Well we are back to getting just one reward, the Morningstar. So why hasn't Ultimate gone back to 6?

I decided to try red again and my Epic Honey Bee took out Abonimable BM. Maybe just a run of bad luck with the reds before. Someday I will figure this all out :D.

So I'm currently up against a Snowflake Dragon in my Arena, and all the guides say to use the other Arctic Isles dragons against it, but these dragons don't show up on my list to pick. Am I missing something?

I also ran into this earlier today. Ninja and Valkyrie level 10 have some effectiveness but I was able to beat the Yeti with my Athletic after 4 tries.
