I am surprised INfinity lost to it ?????

****ed it with Cosmic BMM. Thanks for the tip.

It could've been that I used the wrong combo with my Infinity. I used MBB when I probably should've used BMM.

Hmm never met one before. must be from Jurassic Park.

Oh. At least you have a food.
I saved gold for a long-long time hoping to get second nest. I had 239 and left the game open waiting when 15 more are count. I left an ipad only for a second (!)and my 2-year old child came, tapped 2 times and bought me a Magic dragon for 200 gold!!! I get tons of Magic as a fails and he waste almost all my gold to one more Magic!!! I was so desperate...

So sorry about that. A friend of mine accidentally lost 1000 gold bars ! Of course she never got it back.
There are too many pop ups and sometimes there are changes in the game to the format etc and suddenly we get wiped out. Luckily the download of new games gives us a lot of gold too.

Triceratops is Red/Green colors.
Perhaps Yellow/Blue/Mythic/Red can work.

Bah, can't beat a gold 12. Tried most of the dragons on the list and nothing. Have a long queue of dragons to heal. Maybe I should level up my diamond to epic (level 9 lost) but it's in the den breeding a virtue right now and then it would be another 44 hours to evolve.

My lotus is a total loser, I don't understand how other people beat dragons with it with one hit and I try three of the same hit against that dragon and lose. :P My air, topaz, atlantis, landworm, diamond, origami, lotus have all lost, some multiple times with different attacks against gold. :P

Beat Mercury[13] with Infinity[10](BBB)

It was strange though. The first bash did a lot of damage, the second not so much. Wonder what (BM) would've been like.

So sorry. But if it costs only 6 gold bars then use it, unless someone has the answer.
If not you may want to try some more common dragons. Scarecrow, Genie, Love, Air, Coral etc.

You are facing a Blue Red White.
so a Purple/Yellow(Trickster) failed.
I would try a Sapphire or a Wizard I think.

Read above. Trickster lost to Independence. Someone used a Dawn Tree ( I do not have this)
Worth a try if you have one. Independence is easy to breed now. (Tusker or Laser with Water Dragon).

Ah that is good. I am trying to breed a Dino series of Dragons but landed with a bunch of common ones. Need to get some Fighters. Luckily the YY n Levithian us in the bag with Independence.

Athletic beat it before. You can try, but Naga is quite strong. I had problems with it before.

Naga is Pink , like Virtue and Kitsune.

Pink is weak against Black, Gold and Fairytale it says.

you do know that doing the tournament battles and winning also reward you 1 pearl?
also the tournament are going out in groups..... so far its the 3rd group.. so if you havent updated maybe you was in the 1st group or 2nd group

hope you are in the 3rd or upcoming groups if any left... or else it would be sad if you miss out

You can do the tournament and still get your Levianthan pearls. You do not need to wait until you have all your pearls to start working on the tournament.

( I have 98 now.... one more baby!! LOL)

Thanks! This finally worked for me. I could have swore I tried this combo before but either my aether was already waiting to heal or I used the wrong battle moves. BMM worked for my level 6 Aether against a level 13 Independence.

Mossrock level 12 took out two of my dragons, diamond and firestorm both epic. Big ugly thing is going down even if I have to use all my dragons.

I used Big Bad to bring down Mossrock. A Bash followed by a Magic did it.

I found all the listings to beat the Fireworks Dragon to be wrong. I tried my level 8 Virtue Dragon, though, and beat it in one magic hit. :3 For anyone else having trouble.

Stuck on 16th attempt of 30, on tournament . I think tl wants my money but i wont drop any more . This tournament is full of *****s , with unbeatable dragons just to force you buying a lot of golds.

Yes I beat the knight dragon with level 10 wizard dragon - 1 magic, 1 bash. I had already lost against in twice with other dragons.

Stuck on Quartz on my second account. Week ago I lost a lot of my dragons on it and finally have to breed some rare pink (it became Justice) to defeat it :) than I won a number of easy battles and - voila! - Quartz appeared again, together with that rainbow triangle. It changed Quartz's magic and he became more stronger! Now Justice not working...
Have no Black, Gold or Fairytale here. Any ideas?

There's no logic in this game...
Quartz iz mainly gemstone than pink now. Gemstone now possess blue and green, so I went through weaknesses of them
Blue is weak against yellow and purple, green - red and mythic. Purple is not good against green, so I choose yellow and red.
Eagle level 9 against Quartz level 5 or 6... Eagle lost :( no logic at all

I have actually battled against dragons there were a level 16. So will the level be raised from 10 to 16 for us? If so TL needs to update the food and give us the option to plant more than 800 per enchanted farm.

I agree. I'm 3/4 of the way to having enough for a second Levi. No that I have anywhere to put it though so it's pointless. The battles are fun to do. It would be nice to have a new reward.

Knight should have been a battle reward dragon. I still can't even get samurai, let alone quest for Knight.

Yin Yang is the first Tournament boss and the prize for winning that series of battles. Tournament has not yet seen general release.
There have been only 3 Tournament test releases so far, each one to a limited group of players. In the 2nd and 3rd tests, TeamLava made significant changes to things like opponents, victory odds, cost of Ultimate attack and cost of gate speeding. This suggests that they are using the tests to tweak the final version for general release. They've also seen some complaints about the tournament goal not reaching completion, or the prize egg not being delivered or stored even though the tournament was won. That suggests that they still need to work on some details.
JakeStorm did say that eventually all iOS players will get a shot at the Yin Yang tournament. He of course did not say WHEN.

I would hate to see the rug pulled out from under the thousands of players who still haven't accumulated 99 arena victories.
JakeStorm said they would eventually introduce a new reward and corresponding prize dragon, but that may come as a REPLACEMENT (not an addition) to the existing one.
Let's say they introduced Lion Claw rewards, 99 of which would craft a new Conquering Lion dragon. Players will suddenly start earning L.Claws instead of L.Pearls. Imagine your frustration if the 82 L.Pearls in your storage were now worthless unless you were to buy 17 more to craft a Leviathan IF it's even still in your Spell Shop.
One way TL may work around the obstacle of obsolete L.Pearls may be to convert them into L.Claws. But what if you really WANT a Leviathan and not a Conquering Lion? Then you'd have to buy one for 1400 gold or forget about it.

Give it time. Multiple Leviathan dragons is not yet a widespread phenomenon.

Great questions! As usual I do not reveal the strengths and weaknesses of a new type. Gemstone type is strong against three types and weak against three types, neutral against everything else. Just for fun I will reveal two of the colors it is neutral against (meaning it receives no boost or penalty): yellow and mythic.

My Lotus dragon beat gemstone with one bash. :)

I used epic Zombie to beat Dino MM
Also Infinity 1 B
Since green is weak against Dino
I'd think purple is your safest bet
Try Mistmoth if you don't have Zombie

Has anyone else had problems with the new tournament? I defeated the forest lvl 1, water lvl 1, and light lvl 2 fights, but the next time I logged in, the little tournament flags on the battle arena were gone and it had gone back to being just regular fights (now its a forest dragon lvl 11) but I still have the spiritual spar quest for winning the tournament! What's going on? I did a hard restart and it's still the same, did they cancel the tournament but forget to remove the quest, or am I just bugged out right now? Help please!

Hi everyone. The whole team scrambled to address these issues tonight but to protect players we decided to turn off the tournament for the time being. We'll be back in the office tomorrow morning and we'll work on addressing the problem. In the meantime, if you experienced any trouble related to this, please email support@teamlava.com for assistance.

I've also confirmed with the team that once we get this up and running, we'll double the Leviathan Pearl rewards for the entire duration of the tournament. That should address any lost rewards many of you have experienced.

I'll jump back on in the morning and keep you updated on our progress. We're very sorry for the frustrations (and share them) and we'll do our best to get this up and running as soon as possible.

And while I'm here I'll tease the fact that next month you'll be seeing an update that's bigger and contains more content than every feature we've ever released put together. So that's very exciting.

I have tried EVERYTHING to beat level 14 scarecrow dragon and I just can't do it. Been stuck on it for almost a week now. (Mind you I haven't been trying to play every single hour of the day since I'm trying to heal some dragons first). *bash was not the most effective but then magic drained it to next to nothing, so I finished it off with another bash. You might be able to defeat it using two magic attacks.

How much longer will the regular arena continue to charge us 30 gold for the Ultimate attack and 4 gold to speed the 1-hour gate? Will it ever return to the regular pricing of 6 gold per Ultimate attack and 1 gold per hour to speed the gate?

We are sure you have some sane and reasonable explanation for this.
