Okay, so I found this in my spell shop but how do I get the 99 stones needed for it?

by winning battles in the battle arena...if You don't have a battle arena and thus not in the beta test group, you have to buy the stones needed to craft the dragon.

Let's see, 99 stones at 15 gold = 1485 gold needed to spend to craft this dragon...I guess I'm just going to wait who knows how long for battle arena to be available to everyone (or all iOS anyway). Note: a lot of people are still waiting for the Dragon Quests too.

It's a craftable dragon (that makes two released the same day) so iOS only. Sorry you can't get it without spending gold :(

on the plus side, not all iOS users can craft it without spending gold either for the simple reason that the stones required to craft it are tied to wins in the battle arena which is only in beta testing and currently having a few issues on initial release today.

You can battle every hour. It just takes 6 hrs to heal your dragon. At some point there will be a line to the healing springs.

Mine is hourly, even though I won the battle. But the healing takes 6 hours.... I'll be going to battle in 5 minutes time. Gosh , it's keeping me stuck to the iPad.

I like the new dragons, love the idea of the arena an outpost(wondering how long it will be before they decide to release them to all players) but it is pretty frustrating being at max habitats and new dragons are being released left and right, no room to get new habitats for newer dragons and can't keep duplicate dragons to trade. We have to wind up getting rid of dragons we have to breed newer ones, which isn't fair when I am trying to collect one of each dragon and it has been really tough for me to get certain ones which I'm not in particularly in favor of getting rid of. The dragon stable is useless when you have to drop an excess amount of gold just to open one slot. Really wish the creators would take the time and consider their customers a little more instead of worrying about making an easy buck off of them

Totally agree with you. I still don't have any of the new features like quests... Or enhanced breeding.... It's so unfair that it seems like the same people get the beta testing. It should be new people every time. And if it is already like that well I guess I'm just super unlucky then...

I got the quests but not arena, and the samurai dragon they released for the quests is really hard! At least for the Leviathan you have some semblance of control wether or not you get a pearl. It does take a lot of them but I. Not sure which is better. I only have 2/3 steel pieces and no sword. It takes a whole day to know if you got a piece. And I've tried for the samurai pieces 5/7 days a week for about 2 months so...it's rare to get the pieces. I hope we all get the arena soon it seems like fun, ... but hey I'll take it!

No. It can only be crafted and only people with the Dragon Battle arena can do that. But, of course, it can be bought with gold.

This is happening to a few of us, TL know about the issue and are trying to sort it out. Have a look on the pheonix tournament thread for updates as that is where the issue has been brought up.
You're not alone. I thought the problem had been fixed earlier, I actually kept my 99 pearls long enough to start crafting the Levianthan, I went out to walk the dog, got back home, checked my game and I'm back to 98 pearls with no Levianthan crafting :(
They are working on it though, so fingers crossed it's sorted soon.

I've crafted Leviathan thanks to the Phoenix tourny, and I have 88 pearls in storage towards a 2nd one, but I'm not overly concerned about getting a 2nd one. I might though.

Usually when there is a timer on a goal like this, the dragon will leave, but I will check on this.

If I craft the second leviathan can I send the egg to storage instead of placing it on the nest? (If the nests are busy, of course).

mkay, thanks Kooky.:) I'll set to crafting it then, and I'll shove it into storage. If for some reason I need some extra space, I'll just sell the one I have (only lvl4 ) and hatch a new one. But I hope I won't have to!

This got me thinking. They'll probably create a new dragon as a battle reward. And maybe we'll even get a new tournament soon! who knows. I'd settle for the one tournament per month (7-day tournament and 3 weeks interval until the next).

actually it's not such a bad idea to remove leviathan, since a new item/prize dragon would be fun :) for those who've already managed to collect all the pearls, that is...which, given the last tournament was handing out double the pearls (thanks, Jakestorm8 :) )most of the players might already have.

Glad I finally got up to 99 and my Levi egg is currently hatching. Just in time and I can start building up for the gladiator dragon. Not been battling for a couple of days since I crafted Levi as no point.

Yes. I had my nests full when my second leviathan was ready in the crafting building and I could not get it to storage. It just stayed in the building until a nest opened up. I kept getting the caution "check nests" or whatever.

Makes sense because:
a) there is a timer on the leviathan goal (so it's not a guess)
b) people should be prepared and be notified in as much advance as possible when a dragon has become limited (meaning it will become unattainable), so they have time to scramble in panic for more days , trying to get it xD

Ugh, apparently the egg will not go to storage! My nests are full and the crafting is finished, but the only option I get is to clear one of the nests and place the dragon there to hatch. :(
Oh, I thought mine had gone into storage a while ago when my nest was full. I will check on this.

Can someone confirm when Leviathan will be retired? Maybe someone who hasn't crafted it yet can post here how much time is left on the goal. (Those of us who have already crafted it won't have the goal, so we can't tell.)
I'm guessing it may be Monday, about 10 hours after the Kaleido tournament ends.
I haven't seen a pop-up timer like we did with Samurai. Once Leviathan is retired, it will be gone from both the market and the Spell Shop so, no, you won't be able to craft it after that.

Based on what moderators have posted on the Gladiator thread, this is your last opportunity to make use of Leviathan pearls. I think you can fairly assume they can only be used for this purpose. TL is awarding Leviathan pearls alongside morningstars for a limited time. That alone should warn you that the pearls have no other/future value.
I suggest you craft the extra Leviathan now and trade it out for large gems if you don't want the dragon.

I started seeing a pop-up timer for Leviathan yesterday. It is scheduled to retire tomorrow, Tuesday Sep. 10 at 10am Pacific.
I think we should expect to stop earning pearls when that happens, and look for the dragon's crafting formula to disappear from the spell shop. But you never know - TL may allow us some extra time to craft the dragon, just in case there's a long job tying up the shop, or a crafted dragon waiting for an available nest.
If it's any indication, Samurai retired from the market on Thu. Sep 5, but the Samurai quests and crafting formula are still active. Reportedly, TL decided to leave the crafting formula in the shop for a while, but may remove the quests soon. Will we see some similar accommodation for Leviathan?
I reached 99 pearls again last night, with 97 morningstars. This morning, not wanting to wait an extra day and a half to craft my first Gladiator, I chose to set that 7th Leviathan aside. But I hope I get a chance to squeeze it through later. No, you can't have too many Leviathans.

Only Dragons which you receive as a reward (Tournaments/Album) will be placed in Storage. Other Dragons will wait in the Spell Shop or Breeding Den.

Does TL plan to do anything with the pearls now that The arena is not giving them. I completed the tournament and did my first regular battle, only star received. I have 76 pearls so obviously not enough to craft another. Any news?

Don't expect any. When they introduced Gladiator, they made a phase-out allowance, awarding Leviathan pearls alongside the Morningstar so that players who had not yet crafted a Leviathan would have a chance to do so. They continued this allowance for a couple weeks, awarding the pearls long after Leviathan left the market. Players even began to complain that they didn't want to keep getting the pearls. Although I emptied my pearl cache to craft what I thought was my last Leviathan on the day they took it off the market, I still managed to earn another 101 pearls after that. I think they've done all they could for players with this one. Looks like the last pearl was set to drop in Round 29 of the Ninja tournament. Our leftovers will just join the defunct Valentine Cards, Hearts and Golden Eggs in storage. They are junk now.

I've only been playing 2 months.dont worry about it already been told it will seat for a while tl hopeing people pay gold to finish pearls out to craft.and if you must know im lvl 50 now and still no diamond even bought diamond temple i get all common dragons from breeding mostly island firestorm life I buy everythang else going to get atlantis and diamond next payday too breeding sucks
