Egg breeding time "glitch"?

I know a few people who have this "glitch" or something where the egg times are cut in half. So for example when he was going for the mythic dragon.. He would get 6 hour breedings which needed 12 gold to complete. I've heard of a couple of other people who have the same thing. I was just curious if this is normal.. An if so.. Why I haven't had the same thing happen to me?
