Sending Gold!

Having problems the last week sending gold, can't send to any of my neighbor's, the gift button is dim and says I have already sent today! ! Can anyone tell me if you can only send so many gold a week or something like that cause its starting to annoy me now.HELP!

You can send only 3 gold a day. Select 3 neighbors from your list and hit send. You can receive 20 gold a day, but gift only 3 people...
