News Feed Cut Off Messages

What's up with the news feed? My messages say, "A friend responded to your request" and "Someone visited your kingdom and"

... and then there's no more. It looks like the line is cut off by a character limit.

FYI: This was better for part of a day but messages are truncated again, this time different character lengths. I see several of each of the following:

"Someone visited your kingdom and helped out. Return the"
"Someone visited your kingdom and helped out. Return"
"A friend responded to your request for help. Why not pay"
"A friend responded to your request for help. Why not"
