Just installed it, and there is something says free gold on upper right screen. Tap it and it is like an offer to get free gold. I doesn't like offer, I never can pass them!

Just so I'm not talking out of the side of my mouth...I updated to the latest version (1.0.7.4) but I don't see the 'free gold' option on mine so I can't comment at all on this feature.

One thing I do see on mine is the gold indicator at the top of the screen is mostly transparent. I don't know if that's because I have a gold sale option right now or not.

maybe it's one of those rotating feature things like the Spinning wheel for us on iOS, sometimes you have the offer and sometimes you don't. *shrug* just guessing.

I love the new addition. They actualy fixed the bugs. My game rarely freezes now. I do not have anything in the "free gold" icon, we might get something afterwards. Maybe we do not have anything because we are not US residents :).

Just logged into Original DS to check out the battle arenas shooting off the fireworks but also checked out the Free Gold offers. Found one for 5 free gold by watching a State Farm video and answering a survey, took like 30 seconds, the gold didn't show up immediately... but after I visited a couple nbrs and returned home. Was another offer from disney resorts and some credit thing.... and a 10 free gold for signing up at Burger King and eating there... pretty nifty, although I do find the icon annoying.

You using Android version 1.0.7.4 ? Should be a icon that says " Free Gold " in top right corner. Look at previous pages to see the icon.

Question: Does Apple have those things in a lot of their games that say " Free Premium Currency " then you get 20 million offers to do things like " Get a free quote " or " Install Netflix / Hulu Plus " for X amount of Premium Currency? I would think if Apple didn't allow stuff like that then this would just be a platform specific ( not TL ) thing.

I can't even REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I GOT one og those! And now he gets THIS???? I guess I shldnt be surprised fl, coming from TL. I'm still hoping they'll be rolling out what they friggin ADVERTISED in the fairytale version. Spell shop, crafting and albums.

Yes this is for random players. I haven't seen it on any of my 3 devices which is pretty crappy to be honest. With as bad as the Android version is they should at least have the decency to provide this to all players.

Does seem to be really random. Some of the offers are really ridiculous as well, for example, I have one at certain times of the day to order pizza online to get 15 GOLD. for the price of the pizza, i could get almost 2000!. Others do work out well though - i have one to spend $2 and get 350 gold (Kobo eReader), and to spend $5 and get 850 gold (goDaddy)

My android device has that Gold offer (and maybe now it disappeared..Don't know why) and there are no offers! Indonesia & Malaysia maybe don't have offers..Maybe the whole of ASIA! =_=
