My stars! What have they done to my Fairy/Mistmoth? They've given it horns! This has to be a black-cosmic because it has all the crescent moons symbols and cow horns that are the signature style of the black dragons. Add a nice hourly income and I may build that Cosmic Expense and finally take a shot at this family.

I also did ... galaxy... cosmic....zodiac..constellation/stellar...astrological....and bird dragons....I also suggested more bug and animal dragons like zebra and mantis....I know many people had the same suggestions... some one also suggested more weather dragons and elementals like tornado... energy...stone...mud etc.... so it looks like Tl is paying attention to dragon suggestions... this one is pretty sweet!! So happy with cosmic element!!!

I'd say NO chance. Crescent moons, crescent horns, big ole onyx gem in it's forehead. There's no escaping the dusky splitter with this one - unless it's yet another unicolor cosmic that you can breed either with cosmic-black, cosmic-cosmic, cosmic-diamond, or diamond-diamond, in which case you could bypass the black. Can't put anything past TL.

I didn't intend for that to be a complaint, but Pink and Black have higher than Cosmic & Mythic. I think those two should at least be 7,500 like Pink and Black.

If you don't have Diamond or two cosmic type dragons you can use Cosmic/Moon.

It's Mistmoth, or Water... The dragons that break down can give a pure colour if the exact two are in the den. I wonder if this happens with 2 seperate dragons that break down are in the den?

Why not Cosmic/Night/Light, like Atlas, and Saturn?

If the story that goes with the dragon has any relevance - that one lone dragon flew up to the searing sun and blocked it's LIGHT, creating a temporary NIGHT as relief to the other suffering dragons - then yes, Cosmic-Night-Light does indeed make sense, hence Cosmic-Moon or Saturn-Moon would be viable parents.

Probably the most interesting aspect of the Crouching-Tiger-Hidden-Dragon breed is that while we have the challenge of compound elements that split, we also have work-arounds that allow us to breed with or without the hidden elements. LOL Its like a Hanayama cast puzzle.

I HATE what TL is doing with these new dragons. We never know for sure what elements are needed. Why did they, since introducing mythic, only give the new dragons one element instead of giving it the elements needed to breed it? (f.e.: eagle we see red and yellow in the market, with the new dragons we only see the mythic or cosmic symbol). How are people that aren't visiting this forum supposed to know how to breed atlas, saturn, eclipse,...? Doesn't make any sense to me.

If you look at the Game Guide thread, the Eclipse Egg shows as Cosmic + Black + Light so Cosmic+Moon to breed. Though I'm sure it could work with cosmic+cosmic or cosmic+diamond. The fact that it's 14 hrs is nice as you are pretty sure to have the eclipse at that time as there are no elements that break down in this combo with that same time frame to breed. Thanks for doing that TL.

I HATE what TL is doing with these new dragons. We never know for sure what elements are needed. Why did they, since introducing mythic, only give the new dragons one element instead of giving it the elements needed to breed it? (f.e.: eagle we see red and yellow in the market, with the new dragons we only see the mythic or cosmic symbol). Oh yeah! If only Android users had the portal, you could spend an extra 26hrs to get rid of that jolly fat blob. 6hrs in the portal after 20hrs in the temple which you'd rather be using for dragons you want to raise. Fun times. Fun times.

you do not craft cosmic, saturn or eclipse. you breed them. cosmic is purple/air with an 8 hr breed/hatch time same as genie. Saturn you can get with cosmic/cosmic, cosmic/diamond or cosmic/red/yellow with a 16 hr breed/hatch time and eclipse you can get with cosmic/cosmic, cosmic/diamond or cosmic/night/light with a 14 hr breed/hatch time.

I didn't realize the eclipse was night/light/cosmic combo and it appeared with diamond + cosmic when I was going for a Saturn. It was funny because I couldn't figure out what the heck it was until I was able to get the egg. I had a mini-excited freak out. It was probably the second or third try with that combo too.

I also want to add that my pop-up (on Android) didn't mention it being limited. Why would they limit this though? It's hard enough that they're limiting most of the other dragons people have been trying to get for a long time.

Thanks! i actuqlly just put my second cosmic on the nest some 20minutes ago ;) i actually got this one faster than the first! After it's evolved I'll breed it with my original cosmic & keep my fingers crossed. I won't mind if a peacock comes out of my attempts, I don't have one either!

Yeah dragons are easier to get once you have one on your isand. Expect a lot of Cosmic, Genie and Magic fails lol but Cosmic/Cosmic is better than the other combos.

There's no breed REQUIRING a Diamond that turns out to be unicolor. You may use diamonds to get unicolors (especially if you don't know the hidden element) but you don't HAVE to. The cosmics are just like the mythics. Was the diamond-mythic hybrid a unicolor? No? It's Helios (diamond-mythic); but you can pair diamond and mythic and get a mythic unicolor instead of Helios (or vice versa). I hope this helps clarify matters.

I think I'm being greedy with the Diamond habitats, all of mine have their own habitat but I had to put Crusader in the red/gold habitat to buy Cosmic habitat.
I hope Eclipse is the last dragon for a while.. although I can guess which one is next.

Naaaaw, my bunny is set at stage 2 ! I think it looks nice that way :D i may consider evolving it to adult... May. But probably won't. Also, my cupid, boo and pumpkin will also be staying as babies FOREVER. XD

I don't think it limited. It's highly doubtful. The words are being taking literally, when I think its a play on words and how a normal lunar eclipse comes and leaves just as rapidly. As least that's my take on it all. There's nothing seasonal about it otherwise. I hope the diamond hybrid is just as easy as the other three Cosmics.

I read that someone got eclipse from Saturn x cosmic. That just should not even be possible. I know that the cosmic and the Saturn show as a single element (I think it's weird that the new dragons are doing that.) but It's like breeding two virtues and getting kite. I just can't wrap my head around it anymore. I just cross diamond with something or diamond x diamond (which is how I got my cosmic) and see what pops out.

Treasure Dragon seemed to have a temporary release on some islands. It made a brief appearance last night. Someone had it on a habitat called Treasure Terrace. It was actually giving him gold - 5 a day, I think - then it suddenly vanished, dragon, terrace and all!

Just finished evolving my cosmic dragon to level 4...threw it on the nest with my level 4 moon dragon and I get.....14 hrs!! Could be eclipse, but it could also be mist (ugh) or Leopard (I'd be happy with that since it's the only light hybrid I'm missing). First time...so here's hoping!

Yes, Eclipse is 14 hrs. Dark Angel, Night & Caesar are the only 23 hr dragons so far :)

Yup. Tried 3 times and got 3 mists. Not using this pair anymore.

Perhaps you breed another cosmic to pair up with the first. I've tried 15 times, using moon, diamond, Saturn ,cosmic. Still no eclipse.

Fairy? I've heard of Diamond splitting to a pure colour like green or light... maybe that's how you got Fairy.

Use Diamond/Cosmic, if you get another Cosmic evolve it. I got Saturn and Eclipse with Cosmic/Cosmic! Cosmic/Moon and Cosmic/red/yellow didn't work at all for me.

If you don't have Diamond then try for another Cosmic, or try for Saturn with Cosmic/red/yellow then use Cosmic/Saturn to get Eclipse

Me too. Got it on first try. I look up my Eclipse goal and purchase the cosmic banner. I click on it quickly and didn't notice the price. Was surprised to see a big deduction from my coins. Went to the market and shocked to see it's priced $2M! Wow, that's so expensive for just a banner and all you get is just 100 coins for completing the Eclipse goal. :(

been trying on and off for eclipse, tried 5 times today with saturn/saturn, and all i could get was air (at least it was short fail time...). don't know if it's bad luck, or if maybe saturn/saturn is not a good combo to breed this. I'm going to go back to cosmic/cosmic

I'm on my 5th genie now using different combos. I don't remember it being this difficult to breed cosmic before. I got it on the first day, in under three tries. Then Saturn and eclipse on the same day. Yeah the habitat was cheap but this is annoying.
