Expansion increase?

I just did an expansion on my island and for the first time the timer reads 2 days and 360 gold to finish has this been increased too? Or is this normal?

The gold timer for expansions has been 10x normal for a very long time.

For me it's been 22 hrs to expand for a while. So the jump to 2 days is normal?

Yeah it's normal.... I'm at 3 days and 700 gold to finish. The more land you clear the more it goes up. Thankfully I think 3 days 700 gold to finish is the maximum!

Yeah it is normal. Long time to wait, if the gold was 1 per hour I would actually speed it up now and then.
