Does anyone plant carrots?

Does anyone here plant carrots? I really don't see the point, for 2 reasons...

1) It's always daylight in Farm Story. Even when I wake up in the middle of the night to check on my chickens. So I really don't need to eat carrots to help me see in the dark.

2) As yet, there's no option to buy a rabbit. So who's gonna eat the carrots? Not me! Maybe peas, fresh from the pod. But not carrots.

I planted a carrot once, on accident.

I plant carrots since I reached 20x20 and got all the stuff I wanted (so I don't care if nobody eats them and therefore they sell for peanuts). They have cute greens and look great when they are orange.
