On the heels of this update, we are aiming to publish a major update on April 25th that may contain a new character and many goals. I will keep you posted. Delays are always a possibility, but it's our hope that with hard work, we will be able to have it ready.

I am working on the hairy princess land first because I don 't have 50 tickets yet (spent 99 on the tinker camp already).pls let us know what happens if someone decides to expand to the tower first.

Biggest OMG ever!!!! Not only did I look down and saw that I FINALLY got my Alicorn wing, then I notice a little Rapunzel looking girl chillen' by my camp. Thought for sure the update would be late! My bad day just got really better!

If only I had those luminescence crafted bc now I need the earth wisps! Does anyone know if in crafting, if we click to buy ingredients with gems and it says 15 for the luminescence, does that mean 15 gems for ALL of that ingredient or 15 each?

To be honest , i've never felt like that since last year with the big update. Stil in love with the royal exchange and now new character , new building to expand to , aaaaasa so many new thingggs :) it's midnight in my place but im so excited that i couldnt sleep :X

After I gave her three slices of cake, she wants me to forge six sword, and then Thomas quest starts, it will tell you the tale behind the princess, and he will give you ten gems. And then thurston and ivy quest will start. Thurston want to make three axe, while Ivy wants to have thirthy skunksomthing from your neighbor, and thats how far I get. Thirty something from my neighbor means at least two days. :(

Imagine my disappointment when it turns out I can't expand to it yet. And now it is expandable, I'm so excited and can't wait to get that talon thing from sabina (I suppose) to finish the expansion.

My best guess is because it is an online game instead of one that doesn't require wi-fi. To update non-internet games you have to download an update. With TL it just gets updated by them without any effort by us.

I know there was an adjustment in the restriction of Royal Points you were allowed, has anyone thought about increasing the number of farm plots? I think it will be rather difficult to send knights out each 22 hours with the number of plots I currently have.

weird mine does this too! 34/50 cocoa beans in the goal and 37 cocoa beans in my inventory :confused:

The goal is counting the number of crop harvests. As you might know, sometimes one harvest yields two crops. Hence the difference.

I just hhhaaaaddddd to sleep in late after staying up and working all night. I open my game and see the girl with all the hair. My heart stopped, I squealed I'm delight and rushed here to see what the dealio was! I love it!

I wish I had been making wisp lanterns but oh well. This will keep me occupied for the next few days, that's for sure! As much as we gripe we canNOT deny that TL has a beautiful game. With amazing graphics, content and always fun to keep us involved. I was going to cook something fancy tonight but......

Thank you dear rosewaterlily! I forgot about the dark cave formations in my inventory. I also crafted mithril to keep from tossing away silver ore. I started one breastplate but am waiting to unlock the meal itself. I almost would be willing to buy extra kitchens for gems. :-P Almost

I know there was an adjustment in the restriction of Royal Points you were allowed, has anyone thought about increasing the number of farm plots? I think it will be rather difficult to send knights out each 22 hours with the number of plots I currently have.

The restriction is on buildings, walls and decorations not the points themselves.

Any idea why TL made the collection icons way smaller than they used to be? It's harder to find them and see what they are, not to mention harder to click on if you don't want to wait for the game to collect them, which often I don't because I want to see better how many of what I have. My stable seems to be pulling in more than it did prior to the update, so I'm happy with that. I actually got like five milk out of of one instead of just two or three. Love the new things to do. :D

But I see other kingdoms where their entire space is surrounded by the white walls. Way more than 22. Is it because my walls are 3 points and the white ones are 1 point each?

I think the limit number for the total walls, gate and tower in your kingdom is 99, so when you already purchase white, stone or pink ones, it also count. :)

It could be that walls in your inventory count against the limit as well, not just the ones on the board.

I would not be surprised if the number of plots allowed was not thought about, and therefore not changed. And I have been wondering if anyone will ever get past level 30. I would hope that playing for more than six months would advance a body at least one level. I know level thirty was the highest level for the October 11, 2012 update. I know quests and crafting new items are great, but you get a feeling of accomplishment when you level up

The crux of this game is focus. Try to achieve one thing at a time. It will turn this game from something stressful to a game that is super entertaining. I still focus on my chateau and haven't really tried to save the lanterns. 3 more tickets to go.... Lol...

I am also on Iphone 5 and my screen will jerk causing me to click the wrong item.
I have found this happens when I am zoomed out.
When I come into the game I zoom out to where I want to use my energy, but I then zoom in close before I click anything.

Nope. I'm pretty sure they are the new ones coming back. The new one it's the only one that I've send to Stormie. I've done it on purpose because Stormie answers everytime even if you have reached the limit of 20. Stormie has accepted according to my news but nothing happens.

I know when the game first came out this was a display issue with iPads. You've clearly got four hearts displaying so I wouldn't stress about it.

Definitly something is wrong with this goal: it seems that no one is able to increase the count. I've received the request from a nbr and asked: nothing changes. I've sent mine yesterday and today read answer in my wall but nothing changes. Can you please ask about this? Thanks a lot.

I was not able to reproduce this on your account on my iPod touch. I will pass this one to engineering, however you may want to try resetting your device and reinstall the most recent version of Castle Story. Please be sure you are using the regular version of the game.

My social bar shows the same thing....4 filled hearts at 3/4 bar. I can never seem to fully fill that bar up, no matter how many hearts I click in others' kingdoms. I just figured its not possible! Maybe to keep us more social more often? :)

This is a known issue, but if you are really at a 4 star, your neighbors will see that.

I am getting notice of response to request for hair donations on my news feed, but none are registering on the count on the wigging out goal. I know that this is not a matter of me "over jamming" the system with previous requests for skunk solution. I received the last of those 2 days ago. I am very careful with my requests and only request 20-22 per day as needed.

This is a legitimate issue/bug. I have force closed the app, uninstalled/reinstalled, shut down my device. No action I can do makes any difference. I have at least 10 notices of response (the news feed is quite short but I am pretty sure there were more than that earlier) and zero (0) listed on the goal count.

Please fix this bug. 75 items to request are a lot, but then for them not to register as received is a little frustrating.

Don't worry, at least you're not a Level 16 kingdom like me. You know, TL does not have any sense of equality or liberty for that matter and it's not fair for me, as I'm at a low level in the games I play. DS is the opposite though, but that's because I'm level 52.

Words of wisdom from Maguar. I started way later at end of 2012 and now left with 2 quests, manty and alicorn quest. Then I will join the "nothing to do, wait for update" club. Only left some upgrading and expanding. So enjoy the game while it last.

You've not been lucky enough to complete the fourth shard quest which is why you've only got the basic recipes in the magic forge.

Hey, now I'm level 17. I've unlocked Ivy's Hot Sauce, I've got a Magic Forge, I've completed Old Thomas's house from earning a very good haul from the Bandits adventure, in which I earned:
Royal Beams
Royal Blocks
Simple Glue (which I used to complete Old Thomas's house)
Truffles (which I used to complete Truffle Hustle)
Iron Ore (which I'm using to craft more Longswords)
5 gems (which gives me a total of 8 gems)

I have same problem. I am very close to level 25 and currently crafting the magic scissors. I will have leveled by the time they are complete. My understanding is that after the magic scissors goal, I get the Strictly Ornamental goal, which I need to complete to unlock the adventure goal and the rest of Sabrina's chain. I have already crafted all the royal blocks & beams I need to make the ornate ones for her house, & I have enough architect's paste to make at least a couple of the magic cements, but I will have to gain TWO more full levels before I can craft even one. By my calculations, I will need approx. 6,600 xp to reach level 27. This will take me approx. a MONTH to get before I can make a single magic cement (which I'm ready to do now) and get any more goals! Something seems off about the level requirement to make the magic cement if it holds up getting any more goals for such a long period of time. It's working on the goals and advancing the story line that I enjoy most about the game. Sigh.

Arikasi and MzL1z, I was exactly in the same situation as you. You can prepare for Sabina's house by crafting materials needed for magic cement. You need 4 of them for the house. I had materials for only one when I got to level 27 and it took quite a while to craft the rest.

I have the quest Strictly Ornamental, yet because I'm not level 27 I can not make magic cement.

This is very annoying, especially since I have not spent gems to speed through and now I have to wait around. It would be nicer if the cement was locked by goal and activated by the quest that needs it!



I have same problem. I am very close to level 25 and currently crafting the magic scissors. I will have leveled by the time they are complete. My understanding is that after the magic scissors goal, I get the Strictly Ornamental goal, which I need to complete to unlock the adventure goal and the rest of Sabrina's chain. I have already crafted all the royal blocks & beams I need to make the ornate ones for her house, & I have enough architect's paste to make at least a couple of the magic cements, but I will have to gain TWO more full levels before I can craft even one. By my calculations, I will need approx. 6,600 xp to reach level 27. This will take me approx. a MONTH to get before I can make a single magic cement (which I'm ready to do now) and get any more goals! Something seems off about the level requirement to make the magic cement if it holds up getting any more goals for such a long period of time. It's working on the goals and advancing the story line that I enjoy most about the game. Sigh.

The goal Strictly Ornamental and the Magic Cement not being unlocked until level 27 is correct. This is by design. To complete the goal you'll need to level up to level 27 to mix the magic cement.
