Benefit of completing market requests??

Is there any benefit in completing the market requests other than the two or three gems. Also is there any effect if you don't complete them all? And last once you finish them all do they restart or is that it? Thanks

Short answer to all your questions, is No.

You only get each one once. If you part do them and don't finish in time you won't get your items back. I find it best not to collect from my market if I'm short of items.
