The design menu has gone out of sync since the xmas stuff/windows appeared. Now there is no expansion menu. The Xmas stuff needs its own tab or to be in the same tab as the ornaments.

Restart your device maybe. I just placed holiday wall decorations, then expanded. All worked great.
