How do you breed forest x emerald?

In the Dawn tree dragon thread, I'm seeing people say you can breed forest x emerald to get dawn tree. But I don't understand how because my emerald is not breedable. I have all the gemstone dragons but only sapphire is in my breed list.

When ruby first came out I was able to breed it (edit: meaning I could use it in the breeding den), then later I wasn't. When I asked about this, I was told it was a mistake which had been corrected because gemstone dragons weren't supposed to be breedable. (edited to explain that by breedable I mean able to be chosen from the list of available dragons when using the breeding den)

Can anyone explain? Thanks!

Is your Emerald Dragon old enough? Only dragons above Level 3 can breed.

You can use Emerald TO breed... you just can't breed any parent dragons to get it. It's only craftable. If that makes sense.

You can't GET Emerald by breeding, but once you have one then THAT ONE can breed.

I used Emerald and Forest and got it on my 4th try.

Then you NEED to email TL and tell them so they can fix it for you. :p

my dear friends, keep on try for forest x forest . I've try for 10 over minutes, only I get it 26 minutes breeding time..

My egg hvnt come out, but it need 26 hour to hatch so, u still can't see the egg yet

Try restarting your device. I am showing the emerald in my list . Are you on the IOS regular game ? version 1.3?

Emerald's supposdd to be able to have **** tiemz. But on my android phone i was trying forest x diamond and got like 6 or 7 forests, until i decided to evolve one of them and breed firest x forest - boom, tree fungus dragon.

They are up to something.. all pop ups are gone and common dragons trade for mystery box when they just changed it to 2 gems.
