I know if you click on a dish that's not done cooking yet, you'll get a popup asking if you want to spend gems to complete it faster. And apparently (which I found out the hard way) if you run out of gold, you can trade your gems for gold.
I am constantly having gems taken away from me without these dialogue boxes popping up. I'll accidentally double click something instead of single clicking, and itll jump ahead and take my gems without asking me! Its insanely frustrating. I still dont know how I lost a lot of them, since I never saw the popup, which means I dont know how to prevent it from happening again. Ugh!
I'm on an ipad 4 and version 1.6.5 of Bakery Story.
