Has anyone actually been able to craft one? I have tried MULTIPLE quests and havent gotten piece one for the Samurai dragon. There is no way to breed this, correct? Is this a beta item? I havent seen much discussion about it either. Stumped.

I've done the quests for the items a handful of times and I've only gotten 1 piece. But I was saving up for the Mythic habitat so now I can afford to spend the coins on that adventure.

Despite sending either my landworm or justice out every day, I still only have the samurai sword, and don't have a single steel piece, I feel this will take a long, long, long time :(

I've been sending my land worm and justice on quest after quest. I get money or apples. Another long hard and frustrating dragon to get. I don't want anything easy but not impossible would be good. Just saying. I've been trying for a honeybee for 3 months/ can't get the little bugger. So is it going to take me 6 months to get these sword pieces or am I just having a period of yuck luck? I got the sword, and 2 pieces of steel in within 5 days and I'll find out tomorrow morning if I got my last piece. Ok, so I've tried day after day for the dragon armor with no luck  it takes one whole day to see if ur land worm found anything worth while, and 90% of the time he comes back with coins the rest are apples  starting to think this is just a decoration! No you're not alone, this thing takes ages! After weeks of sending Justice I got the sword. Now I'm sending Landworm, just coins, Lotus... Useless things but I'd be happier with Nether Dust, Gems and Spell Scrolls.

Haha, you definitely aren't! I've been sending mine off for months now and still only have 2 pieces of armor. Mostly lotus blossoms or 250 food.

The only way to obtain this dragon is getting the items from the Outpost feature, then you can craft the dragon.
Outpost feature is currently only offered to some IOS players.

I have not yet gotten this one. I have three pieces, but still waiting on the sword- which is a rare drop item.

The quests are a joke! Ever since this came out in Bata test I've been trying for it and I still need one piace of the armor. And for the other dragon that's craft able haven't had any luck eater. What's going on with the out post? Is it broken?

Im missing 2 dragons to send on quests for the knight dragon and I'm missing Atlantis to send on quests for comet. That's a bummer as I really like comet. I'm gonna try for Atlantis soon so, with luck, I can get comet before it goes.

Not happy about this at all. I've been trying to get all the pieces for this dragon since April and I'm still missing the sword. And in that time I've been able to breed all of the diamond hybrids except angel. I know the pieces are supposed to be rare but they shouldn't be rarer than dark angel, unicorn, and Helios combined! There is no way I see myself getting the sword in the next 9 days. Especially since it takes all day for the justice dragon to return from its quest.

I don't even have the dragon needed to go on the quest to get the Samuri Dragon, this is crazy, so much for think inking this was a great game. I used to like this better than DragonVale but team lava just turned this game into a joke (in my opinion). You want a particular dragon anymore the way breeding is(seems a lot worse than what it used to be to me) you have to spend over 100 bucks in gold just to get it, too bad they can't just set a set price, for example, say Diamond be 3-5 dollars(usd). I started after Christmas last year, I wish it was like it was then, easy going, not fast paced like they have it now.

I just don't understand the point of even having the questing feature at all if they're going to just start removing the dragons before a reasonable amount of time has been given to get not only the quest dragons but to breed all of the super rares required to go on the quests. I have to say......I'm getting extremely discouraged with this game. I cannot afford $20(& up- special ones can b $100). (Can u afford that?) to buy a virtual dragon & I've tried (more times than could keep track) to get any of the limited dragons and you keep taking more & more away! I'm all for it being challenging. I can now clarify:
The "Buy-All" option does not charge you for pieces you already have. It lets you "buy-all-missing." So it will charge you 900 gold if you have no Samurai steel, 600 gold if you have just one piece of steel and 300 gold if you already have 2 pieces of steel. Since I have the sword, I can't see a price for it, but someone reported that it's 800 gold. All four pieces would total 1700 gold, which is the same price of the egg on the market. So if you're missing all pieces, it's "cheaper" to buy the egg rather than buy the parts then spend 2 days to craft the egg.

I would hate to pay 300 gold for a piece of steel. Then again, after months of questing, I'd also hate to let this dragon go, leaving me with 3 useless parts that were so difficult to obtain. Questing involves so much sacrifice. Every time you send out a high-level or epic dragon on a day-long quest, you lose up to 50000 coins in income plus up to 100000 coins you must pay as a fee for the adventure.

It would be somewhat fair if TeamLava were to lower the gold price for missing parts when a craftable dragon is being removed. They are giving bonus pearls in the arena for players who want to craft a Leviathan before it's gone. I wish they would make some gesture here also to help players who have been questing these pieces for so long, and who have some but not all needed to craft the Samurai. There is at least some strategy in the arena toward earning dragons or their craft parts. There is no strategy in the Quest Outpost. We are at the mercy of the stingy odds. It's like the Spin-To-Win wheel, only more drawn out and painful.

Hence talking about database space nothing will change but the option to make it appear as result of a breeding, this means what really change is a boolean value in a variabile, a field in a darabase table that already exist, so I really can't see a space saving vantage from removing a dragon.

I only need the sword, but I don't think I will get it. Shame, took ages to get the armor pieces, and the justice dragon (got 2 kitsunes before getting it :confused:). Not sure why TL is removing this dragon, when they could easily remove clockwork or other dragons that can now only be bought with gold. Shame... :(

Especially since I only need 1 piece (the sword) and I've been trying for a solid month to get that one piece and I'm getting everything BUT the sword..It had better show up before the dragon disappears in a couple days or I'm going to be royally ticked!

Also, what if you get the last piece, but the quest finishes AFTER the dragon disappears?? What then??? Again, will be royally ticked if I can't craft this dragon after getting all the necessary pieces.

If you start crafting this dragon before it leaves the market you will get the dragon.

This was a dragon I wanted. Actually was able to get one piece some time ago. But was not able to ever get Justice to work on other piece. So set it asid till got that one for some reason, typical TL never could get it...then with so many others shoved on us figured Id have time. Oh well guess to. Thanks TL for giving us dragons. Oh, and taking them away after making it hard to even get it. And so grateful for the fair prices to buy it. Am really getting fed up with the obvious greed. TL has decided to leave the recipe in the crafting shop for players that already have the parts and wish to craft this dragon later, but the quest to gain the pieces will be removed.

Agreed! I am so mad when I found out that samurai was leaving. Now it's gone! I've been trying since I got the quest, sending my justice and landworm but none of them brought me pieces for dragon to be crafted. I even think that there's something wrong on my quest, every dragons I sent they only came home with foods, blooms, coins and maps. Really?! I don't need it neither of those. I only need the parts for dragons, don't you understand TL !

I'm highly upset that I wasn't able to obtain ANY of the parts needed to craft this dragon. I've sent my LandWorm and Justice Dragons on quests non stop for the past 2 months for parts, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that not one of them bought back any pieces I needed. Nothing but countless coins and useless Lotus Blossoms came my way. My sister was able to craft 3 Samurai Dragons, but for the life of me, I couldn't even craft one. All that hard work and absolutely nothing to show for it. I honestly don't think it was at all fair that some people was gettin pieces left and right but I'm still waiting for my first piece. I've even sent my Moon Dragon on a quest to get parts for the Comet Dragon but even that quest yielded nothing but coins. Which is why I'm still convinced that my quest feature is broken.

Update: I ran a few last quests with the Land-worm dragon to use up the time before the goal was removed; I even sped up the end quest with the bonus gold I was gifted from TeamLava closing Monster Story down. Only food and coins came back but then the VERY LAST QUEST came back with the third piece of Samurai Steel that I can craft the dragon with in the shop. Thanks for the consideration, TeamLava.

TL has left the outpost quest for a little longer, but it should be removed soon.

The spell to craft will remain for the players that already have the parts but have not yet crafted the dragon.

Samurai is nice and all, but he was a milestone in a LB at some point in the past year. With over 900 dragons to choose from, I don't get why they keep reusing dragons that were recently available? It's been happening a lot. Underworld and Puffer were also used as LB milestones, and almost all the $ offers of the past few months have featured dragons who were available in the past year. Spirit Crystal was reused in the mine this month even though it was originally released less than a year ago and there are tons of other, older mining dragons to choose from. Another example is Imp. Of all the dragons in the game to choose from, why is Imp the extra prize for the current DT? He's a new-ish dragon that was introduced (and therefore available) less than a year ago, in March. Ugh.

This was mentioned in another thread and I fully agree: who ever is planning stuff in the game apparently does not play the game.

They need to start relisting the many, many dragons who haven't been available for years. There are tons of those to choose from. With the space limitations, no one needs multiples of the same dragon.

I actually just got a Samurai egg. I have been trying to breed mostly for the tales and now I can't remember what I did to get it. I think I was breeding for tales this time. I was so disappointed to get a 25 hour timer on my nest but now I am elated to say the least as I did not have this dragon.
