Really REALLY dumb question ...

But I have to ask, cause I don't want to either spend unnecessary coins or completely ruin my restaurant.

So, I shoved my hostess table in front of my door so I can master all the dishes and make like a gagillion of everything and then start on the 1 and 2 day masteries (cause I will cry if I have to wait 2 days and my restaurant stays empty)

To the question: Can I sell all of my other types of ovens, then go back into the oven menu and buy my quota of single oven types? I'm scared if I sell one, then I will not be able to get another oven til the next level up.

I have one useless grill, that cooks kebabs etc, and 4 "ovens" and 4 "stoves". I'd like to speed things up on the production line but I'm not willing to lose where I am "up to" in the game. Many MANY hours spent.

I think I have a teamlava addiction :(

Yes you can have any number combination of stoves, ovens and grills.
I have 10 total max that I can have. If I need another stove, I store a grill or an oven and buy another stove. Same goes if you need another oven. You need to store something else in order to use a different cooking type.

... Except Shrimp Kebobs are one of the best coin earners, and T-Bones are one of the best XP earners. Gotta use your brain.

Also, it's not really a bright idea to "close" your restaurant to stack up on a tonne of food. You're wasting precious TIME selling (read: EARNING) NOTHING. The consumption rate is limited, and you should NEVER not have anything to sell for consumption. Do you like your coinage being stuck at a certain number? It's supposed to go UP!

Closing to stack food = complete waste of time, as it's going to take longe for that food to be consumed - duh, you just wasted two days stacking up on food!

Ummmmmmm ... valid points. Except I'm playing it for fun. I have 30 to 40,000 of everything I can make so far. I have 400,000 coins ... and nothing left to do but masteries.
I understand what you are trying to say, but I'm only doing this right now to be different, and to master the recipes. It hasn't been a complete waste of time for me, my score is still at 100 for the restaurant and I'm actually having fun now doing each recipe on tons of stoves and getting my xp up so I can get more stoves.
The coin isn't the problem. I want xp and to level up and also I want to master every recipe. I am already lvl 4 for kebabs and tbone, and also the grilled samon steak things.

I am up to the maximum on my appliances and I swap them in and out of storage when I need more of something. I also close my resto every night and I have almost 2 million coins. Play whatever way you enjoy. That's what games are for.

You come across as being very rude! Each and every player has their own way of playing, and just because she doesn't do it your way doesn't mean that you have to be so rude about it.

I just love watching my food pile up. At the moment it is the most fun I am having.... After I finish cooking a batch of something, I go and check how many I have of them... I know! I get soooo excited when I do that too. I love the one hour or half hour cooks, after checking at the end of the day and putting my "overnight" 16/12 hour product on I check my levels and I "squeeeee" to myself :)

LOL, it's nice to see that there are still nice respectful people out there in this world of rude, disrespectful people. People just don't see that you can voice your opinions and views without being disrespectful.
