You are on. Male peacocks are beautiful, with their lovely greenish color and large tails - to attract females. Female peacocks are brown and plain. So I am going to say this is definitely a male.

I love it! As long as it's not a mythic hybrid (still haven't been able to breed it), I will forget about the pearl dragon being 1800 gold for android! ;) purple is my favorite color! I'd take purple over pearl shaded any day!

Color guess... I'm going out on a limb here, I say first pink tricolor. Pink, purple, blue super rare. Scares me to type this but my other guess is pink and black. Oh the nightmare!

Male peacocks are the only ones with plumage. The female peacocks have no tail feathers :-)

Purple is purple, there is no reason why it couldn't live in the regular purple. Small or large.

Correct, they are just showing off the more expensive habitat. Which to be honest, if I had the money or won one of the 5000 gold contests, I'd buy a few of the more expensive habitats, 1 red, 1 green, and possibly 2 purple. they are beautiful looking habitats, a lot of design work went into them. I think they'd sell more if they were 100 gold personally, but I would buy them if I won a contest since I don't have the $$$ being out of work to invest in it.

Ok, no more wondering about this dragon. Its a hermaphrodite! Male feathers, female features, female grace, female beauty! Her name is Lily Grace and I am making all necessary plans to welcome her to my island. I do wonder though, why did they stop releasinf mystic dragons? Usually with a new color we get dragon hybrids. We only have three so far. Cant be this one is too, because her name doesnt fit. Unless two will come and they just havent announced anything?

Either ways, shes a keeper and im not complaining!

(A) purple-black. Because Illusion was a design flop that was itself hinting at a peacock. This is the real deal.
(B) purple-blue-black. That way, you'll never know if Night is to blame for all the Corals you get. LOL
(C) purple-pink-black. You already hate them. Why not hate them together?
(D) purple-pink-blue. Just to keep the gender ambiguity going.
(E) purple-yellow. Only because there is still no super rare in this color group.
I really think the dragon is too dark to not have black in it.

Purple never has split for me, I've bred them many times and it hasn't happened once. Medusa, Anubis and Illusion are the only purple dragons I am missing so I would've noticed.

Probably is. In my opinion, I think either you are both right (Mythic/Purple/Yellow) or just impossible85 is right, because Mythics are usually triples, save the Diamond because it's special.

Yep! I am already stocking up pinks and black gems for when they release a craftable Quartz and Onyx dragons! I plan my breedings so that if I get decent fails I can push them through the portal. (I swear they look at me reproachful like when I change their name to "Portal")

I had so many light fails that I able to make two Pearl dragons immediately after they released them!

not to poke fun directly at sand, more of a general comment...it's funny how addicted to this game we've become (I'm just as guilty). We sit around waiting, constantly checking and refreshing, waiting for the latest dragon to appear like a drug addict waiting on their next fix.
