i finally got a right heart just before it disappeared..now started trying for passion, but wid everyone's bad luck wid the dragon, i wonder if it will happen..i have a question now, so many people getting magic, wid this combi of LH and RH, wud one also get a peacock as its also a pure purple colour??wud sum of the senior players enlighten me?? technically it shud happen rt??

It apparently earns TL money:
- increased habitat costs + low coin capacity of new habitats
- all new dragons which cost 100 000/125 000 in food to completely level up. No increase in farm productivity.
- spin has a piddly 0.0000000000000001% chance of landing on anything other than a piddle of coins/food/lotus
- boosted breed; people have costs of: coins (100 000, 500 000), gold (10, 50), Apples (50 000) -> yield of rare dragons either SUPER LONG in breeding time or does absolutely nothing and produces no boosted increase
- Limited edition goods which do nothing, are a cash grab and upon buying turn out to be expiring. E.g. Diamond Temple
- Excessive numbers of 'sweepstakes' lasting a total of 3 days to promote money spending.
- Dragons that basically take over 600 tries to breed - Dark Angel, Helios
- Dragons that split excessively when breeding - Dark, Pink, Mythic
- Dragons with deceptive colours - Atlas and Peacock both need colours which are unstated
- Dragons with deceptive breeding times - Many new dragons now coincide with the breeding times of commons. e.g. the infamous 12 hours
- New dragons have extremely low earning rates unbefitting of their rarity
- Costs are different for _every_single_player_ goldwise
- Some people are experiencing doubled gold costs and doubled breeding/evolving times (others are experiencing the opposite)
- Pricing of stables are screwed if you have them (buying a stable gives you ONE storage area for a premium price. Subsequent upgrades are also extremely expensive)
- Decorations that cost gold
- Decorations that cost gold and are then made craftable
- Limited editions classed as limited with a timer, which stay for a few months, and are suddenly relabelled limited
- two words: GOLD TRAP

That's an excellent summary idestined.

The unstated colors needed for peacock and Atlas are just terrible. And the low earning rates for these new rares are so offputting...What's the point of it? There are other ways of generating coins quickly, with an army of loves for example. I'm not terribly eager to try for peacock...its another low earner and not seasonal I believe. If I do get one by accident I'm going to name him Adam Lambert hehe

When I was tryiing for Helios and DA I got a lot of Atlas & Peacock fails.... I'm glad I had Quetzal before Dawn Tree was released!! It seems the Cosmic/Diamond hybrid will also be difficult to get.

I tried for 5 days using the purple/yellow combo and got nothing but genie dragons .... not even a trickster let alone a peacock. Now I'm going for magic/magic combo, been about 4 days now and like 6 tries with some speed ups with free gold from neighbors and still no peacock! I can't try the diamond combo since they don't seem to like my island b/c I still don't have one.

I bred trickster & genie for cosmic, then decided I wanted another Cosmic to try for saturn, no saturn, just a lot of peacocks

I got my saturn with Cosmic Diamond instead cause I was sick of peacock fails

It's an iOS dragon, you have to craft it... But on android you can only buy it from the market.

Finally woke up this morning to a Peacock egg. I have tried off and on since this one came out. He is one of my faves. So 4 days ago I decided I would do pure purple and yellow combos only until I got it. I can't wait until he hatches

Ok, so when the pop up showed up it said Purple & Yellow... but now it says just Purple, like in the album and market. Magic & Diamond 1st try got me Peacock.

Anybody get this with JUST Purple and Yellow? I think it's just purple, I feel sorry for those who wasted gold.

Yes, Peacock is still available. There is a Limited Dragons (http://forum.storm8.com/showthread.php?52752-Limited-Dragons-Notification-Thread) thread that the player mods keep up with the latest information (that we have), and you can always check the Egg Chart (http://forum.storm8.com/showthread.php?41090-Dragon-Story-Game-Guide) created and kept up by sehana, in post 1.

Peacock (and Rainbow) are both still in my market, and I haven't seen any official notice of them being limited or removed. Try force-closing and reopening your game. It that doesn't work you might want to delete and reinstall.

Yes, it sucks - don't ask how I feel about this. I hope in a future update, which may come "in time" (whatever that means) fix this with other problems we encounter.

Sometimes there are good surprises - after the Thanksgiving event suddenly the Peacock Dragon appeares in my Market - thus being breedable (finally!) which it should have been for months. Either this is a side-effect of the larger Database-manipulations for Thanksgiving or a bugifx of the Database. Anyway: My frustration is considerably lower then before, seeing at last one problem fixed. Thanks TL!
