You'll have to email TL but you'll never get it back, a lot of people have lost more than 50 gold and TL have never gave it back.

Nope. You don't get it back. I accidentally bought a Life too after painstakingly saving my first 63 gold gifts. I'll never forget that, and now I never browse the market with a nest empty. Quite a few people accidentally bought the Easter for 600 gold because of how fast the pop-up shoved it under their finger.
I've had numerous accidental gold or gem purchases in various TeamLava games. They respond to the email with a canned message expressing sympathy at your loss.
