Hi, I can't get the discounted gem price to appear. I powered off my iphone 4 a couple of times yesterday. The price of 24 gems is still $4.99. Any ideas?
thanks!

The $4.99 gems were not ones that were discounted at all.

The last thre were at 10%, 20% and 30% off for the most expensive gems.

I got 105 for 15.99. Reg 19.99

Don't need them right now, but may want something in the new year.

OK, so I get a discount for buying 580 gems? I have spent a little on gems but cannot justify spending 70 bucks in one shot! What you are getting is not comparable to what $70.00 in video games or software could buy (or in even 3 dimensional decor!) Come on Team Lava, I want your company to thrive and everyone to make a decent living but you are selling something that has a huge profit margin (nearly 100% depending upon how you look at your operating costs, right? I am not a business major). So the price of one little cyber-dog-decoration is $15.00 to buy 55 gems. Aaaak. There are awesome apps that go for $2.99 and less. It just seems that the pricing scheme is totally out of whack...I see why people are frustrated!! Shouldn't a little decoration in a game cost 49 cents? Which means a dog should be 2 gems. I feel like it is almost a weird form of gambling and I feel for people (and kids!?) who have been swept up and spend hundreds of dollars so easily and then when the bill comes they have deep regrets and hopefully no negative financial fallout from an impulsive purchase. Seems like the game could be fun and your company be successful without such a risk that people could get out of control with their spending. You want to feel that the company is providing a great game that people love without praying upon people who may not be able to control their spending. When I hear about people spending so much on gems I feel that cannot be good - I doubt all the people that spend that kind of money can afford it - which you could say is their problem but I suspect the mode of delivery of the product makes it a more complicated picture, especially given that people are essentially gambling on getting the prize they want when buying a treasure chest. Anyway...someday, I will earn enough gems for that other dachshund :). I wonder what your number-crushers would think...do we want 5% of our customers spending hundreds of dollars or what if there was a way to get 75% of our customers to spend 10 dollars. I don't know what goes on in the board room, just making the case for what I feel is a more reasonable pricing approach.
Thanks for listening.
