Where is my gold!?!?

I was looking at my quests, and I exited out. Then I noticed that I was missing 10 gold! I then looked back at my quest and one of the steps had been automatically completed! I didn't tap the "Skip" button and I have no idea what happened!! Please help, TeamLava!!
