Pearl Dragon

Yesterday I had the pearl dragon in the crafting shop, so I started it. Thinking it would be finished today so I went to crafting shop and there is nothing there but the pages are still turning. It did take the required large pearls from me though! Now it doesn't show the pearl dragon at all. How do I get my pearls back?
