I'm assuming the Spring Leaf and Picnic Basket gifts are for the new Spring Stove. Do we know how many we need yet? 10 each, 12 each, 4 each? I just don't want to end up with enough for 20 of them before I even reach the goal.

Here's one reason I ask...Since there weren't 10 each of the items required for the Fondue for Two, I ended up having to sell one of them just to make the last one and get those items out of my gift list. I was at a lower level at the time and only had enough room for 15 appliances...I'm up to 18 now. :)

I just want to be prepared, so whoever gets there first, let us all know! Thanks!!! :D

To be honest, I think TeamLava meant to put 240. The newest content is always so high priced, and new appliances (which aren't needed) are always needing NEW items at a high amount.

Also, can you have the developers look at the Zucchini Soup? There are 600 servings, and you get 1000 coins. Probably should be 2400 coins, or servings reduced to 600. Unless TL is changing the pricing of their foods.

I usually have to click on the goal where it says 'buy' and takes me to the floor, I then make my alternate selection from here.

Thanks for letting us know about the income issue for Braised Lamb and Zucchini Soup. The incomes were fixed a few hours ago. Braised Lamb now yields 1,000 Coins and Zucchini Soup yields 2,400 Coins.

Unfortunately yes. The only thing gained by completing the goals are a new appliance, new recipes, unlocked items to purchase, a few gems and xp. In the end it will cost you some major coins. I didn't keep track of an exact amount but I easily spent well over 300,000.

At leas the final 'prize' uses coins, not gems. I was pissed that BS used gems to buy the stupid musician and that was the only way to unlock the drink machine.

Once you unlock it ... It won't dissapear .... And to unlock it you don't need to finish all the goals ... The goal that unlocks it is the one where you have to cook the 4 hr recipe in the new oven

If those that don't want to spend 100,000 they can keep saving for expanding and then They feel like it they can purchase it

Usually the first goal item unlocked is free, if you want more you pay for it. Maybe, maybe if the item you had to pay for was decent I would pay for it this way but there has been so many better ponds released it makes no sense. Anyone newly playing wouldn't be able to afford this goal anyways.

I haven't purchased gems for RS in awhile as frankly, what's been offered does not interest me. I think the biggest thing is when RS does stuff like this it taints how I feel about the rest of the TL games that I play. :(

The pond is unlocked for purchase as soon as you finish making the 40 snow pea risottos and buying the two bird houses. Therefore it is not necessary to make the braised lamb to have the pond and unlocked. However to my knowledge, I have never seen a goal item unlocked by any other method other than to complete all goals in the set time before they expire.

Yeah, the first time I made the risotto I thought I tapped the wrong recipe. The braised lamb uses a steak from a previous recipe.

We can't buy a second one. I just got mine, put it on the wall, and then went to see how much another would cost... it's not anywhere in the decor to buy.

There's no more goals after that.

We don't always have goals. There are sometimes were 2-3 weeks pass without any goals, it's normal. Take that time to save up coins and get some gems by mastering you food as well as getting new appliances.

I didn't totally complete the goal when I realized that was the goal prize. Went all the way to buying the $100k pond (didn't buy it tho) and just waiting for that darn goal to time out and disappear. I was quite disappointed too. Don't see how lower level players could finish this goal as it was quite expensive. I did master all the recipes for the appliances tho.

I was only at the first ones (wallpaper/tiles/chairs and tables) and thought it was going to be an enormous effort to try and make it. Certainly since I'm only level 15, making enough coins in time seemed undoable anyway. And if the reward is something I need 100 000 coins for, I won't be able to get it anyway.

Shame really... these goals should spice the game up, not demotive people.

I realize it is tough for new players to be able to complete all the goals in the timeframe. In the past, the goals were really quick and easy which benefited new players, but the older players at higher levels would complete them within a few days.

I have noticed that now TL has tried to find a middle ground for both old and new players.
You may of missed this set of goals, but keep playing and gaining more appliances, coins, etc and hopefully you will be ready for the next set of goals.

I certainly will continue, tho I have to admit I found it demotivating that ghe first challenges I get presented with are actually without my reach. I wonder whether it is not possible to offer players goals that match the level they have reached so far... I suppose it creates extra work but it would be very enjoyable.

This has happened to me too, I have posted a thread about it but was just reading other threads and found this, I was part way through the first goal in the spring series and it just disappeared, the little clipboard has also gone but I assume this is because I now have no goals. Is this common in RS, I only started playing as it was a goal in Castle Story,but was enjoying it up to this point, if this is going to happen I will probably delete once I've completed all the RS related goals in CS.

The goal sets are up for a month, then disappear several hours before the thing says they're going to. I suspect it has something to do with time zone differences, but that's just a guess, and they should figure out a way to stop it from happening either way, because it's not fair, whether people had a whole month to do them or not, because some people haven't been playing that whole time.

(I've seen other people talking about getting RS as a goal in CS, and the spring goals are going to disappear on all those people, but the 'Gran-Gran' goals are the ones that JUST came out, so those are the ones to be doing anyway if you're going to follow a goal set right now. :) )

I play CS too, and I know what you mean about how the goals work differently. If you want to level up quick, look for recipes that earn the highest XP, I don't remember which ones were available at the level you're on though so you'll just have to search for yourself lol. 598 XP in 10 days should be pretty easy though. :)

There might be new goals after Gran-Gran, there might not, more often than not there aren't goals, so people can work on mastering the rest of the recipes in the game and doing what they want instead of being told what to do. :)

Also, @bluebellgirl, the spring goal set was long, hard, and expensive, one of the required purchases was 100,000 coins, and just starting out like you are, it probably would have just frustrated you anyway. That's where the Gran-Gran set comes in: TL tries to maintain a balance of easy vs. hard goal sets to try to keep both new and veteran players happy. So you came in just in time. :)

Finish mastering the recipes on them for the gems, then either store them on the slight chance they get more recipes added to them down the road (yeah right...) or sell them (I'd keep at least a couple though, just in case) and get back 10% of what you spent. You can always get more coins, so that's not too horrible. Those are really the only options. :)

After doin all the math for lower level players like me shrimp kabobs an strawberry salads are the best profit per hour at 1100, but the spring stove has the zucchini for 2 hours with a profit of 2400 making it more cost efficient. Guess ill just grind up coins then

You can't anymore. I remember seeing someone mentioned that the goals have expired. Don't worry, I'm sure there will be more goals soon. Just continue playing and master the recipes as you go along. =)
