Red petals

Can someone please tell me how to find red petals? I need them to craft parts to upgrade my love spire. I have been trying for two days and only found two.... I am new to this game, only level 9.

I just started the game 2 days ago and ran into the same problem. According to another post, you get the red petal from fern, tall grass, old log, or bush. I bought about 5 fern and 5 tall grass and you cut them down for the CHANCE to get a red petal. I think I had to cut down about 15 to get 3 - these are quite rare.

Fern costs 800 and tall grass costs 100 - maybe you should start with tall grass as it's much cheaper.
