Well, guaranteed it will break down for two reasons:

1) current trend (pink, black...)
2) they only released one additional dragon so that means it's not a guarantee to get. It's not like the Light dragons when they came out, they came out all at once, as as most of the pinks. But like the blacks, they are coming out in a trickle because each one will not be easy to get since the breedings can break down.

To clarify, you will need to breed a Mythic Dragon with a Purple and Green hybrid (Poison, Familiar, Witch) in order to breed a Medusa Dragon. Sorry for any confusion!

Shoot I can't get the blacks and pinks yet. All I get is firestorm, and fruitful. I have tried the suggested pairs and gotten 100 firestorm. No luck at all. Took eleven months to get diamond and I can't get any of them either.

The combo with the highest amount of possible outcomes is Mask x Medusa.

Actually, by the looks of that you can get any dragon in game except Diamond hybrids.

Well seems no one has bred it, seen a few on peeps islands but they never reply, assuming it's from the wheel. I have a remaining 4 hours in the den, and for 8 gold, I am not speeding. I would for 4 as I am ready to go to bed. Basically I miss 1 breeding and the chance to have it mostly finished by am. Little things like that are little joys that make the game. I don't feel the excitement about it anymore. I barely glanced at how to breed Saturn because it's so far down the road for me. The difficulty to get the dragons + the doubled gold amount + the long hours breeding = all work and no fun anymore. Really disappointed...

If this combo does not work within 3 tries you can also use Atlas + Poison. Best of luck!

I guess that at this rate, and for players that are behind on breeding (like me!), we're going to have to choose what to breed. It's not going to be possible to get them all unless we spend ridiculous amount of money in gold. I am very disappointed in this. I always thought that with time, patience and tenacity, I could get them all. It was without counting on TL's greed. At this point, everything is good to make money, even if it means destroying the spirit of the game.

That does seem to be the pattern, doesn't it? Atlas is super rare, and I can't remember- was it the last one released or was Medusa released after it? That's what happened to Eclipse, so I'm thinking Atlas might go first.

I just checked and Aurora add way to many fails compaired to pairing with Familiar. So after the 22 hours I have in the den, I'll switch back to Atlas and Familiar.

No you have to have purple/ green in the combo as well

Try Mythic and Aurora. You can get Atlas, Medusa, or Diamond as a result. I got my Diamond that way! Good luck!

I'd like to think that Boosted Breed is what helped you, but there seems to be very little evidence in the forums of that feature working. Unless reports start popping up of many having success with Boosted Breed, I'm not going to touch it. Congrats on your Medusa though.

After so many tries, I can't count anymore I had given up on Medusa... Today -while waiting for my gemstone to come out of the evolution temple- I tried again just for fun, didn't even look at the counter, when gemstone was ready sped up and hardly didn't believe my eyes what was in my nest!!! :D

Tried Mythic and Atlas, both with poison, because I do not own Familiar or Witch, and Mythic + Mythic, but in the end Atlas and Poison was my winnig team. :)

This has been a very hard one! :eek: Congrats to all others who got it, to the others: don't give up! Only give it a break. :)

Been trying for the past month straight, wasted over 100 old so far and nothing. Mulitple eagles, honeybees, fruitfuls, tricksters, genies, firestorms, mythics, lifes. I just want this dragon sooooo badly :( this is getting sooo old and making the game totally boring. Wish I had the first try or second try luck -_-
