I don't have to wonder what they are when I visit my neighbors from now on.
So, for an iOS/non-beta(ordinary) player like me, it's quite normal that I cannot get them.
It's good to know I will be able to get the quest portal in the future. Well, at least.

The house is am ios only feature that is in beta testing right now. Only a set number of ios players have it right now. Once they are done testing it, the feature will be available to all ios players.

The cake was a gift/ short quest to celebrate the Google Play one year anniversary a few weeks ago. It is only available to android players.

You're welcom. You may see the cake decoration on some IOS neighbors too. They have both devices and switched the game over to android to get the decor. Just in case you wonder about that in the future.

aww why hide it? I thought it was cute. I got a second one when TL placed my gem cluster for me (not sure why) and I gave them pride of place on each side of my breeding den, to stand guard so the dragons don't get disturbed during their "private time" lol
