moving habitats

Having started to clear upper level I can't seem to move anything up there, it seems to just stop at lower level? Help!

i moved one of my farms up. once it is placed there, it cannot be removed to somewhere else.

it takes some tries but you can move everything everywhere on your islands if there is a space cleared. and u can move it back down too...put the hab/farm on the screen at the same time as the empty plit, that usually helps :-)
