Zooming in and out???

I am stuck at trying to find the way to zoom in and out on the screen. I'm zoomed out all the way and it's to small for me, I tend to touch stuff and use gems when I dont' want to. How do I zoom in? Please help. :)

Put two fingers on the screen next to each other then slide them apart (same as zooming in on the ipad/pod/phone). To zoom out put two fingers apart on the screen and slide them together.
