Has anybody managed to breed an Easter Dragon so far? I keep on trying for two weeks, but no success :(

I got 2 Easters unexpectedly when trying for Mythic.

Been doing Fire and Air for a while now with nothing but Firestorms and a Mythic. Was thinking about switching to something like Firestorm + Mythic or Pumpkin + Mythic.

I've been breeding red and yellow in different combinations..... I was originally going for Mythic and Easter, plus I still needed Scorpion, so it seemed like a good idea... It's been extrememly disappointing. I had a run which included lots of Mythics (I had 5 at one time, sold one or two), but lately, it's been Firestorm after Firestorm. Non-stop Firestorm, with the exception of a 2-hour Air, which came from breeding Mythic + Mythic. Weird!

Still need Easter (and Scorpion), but might take a break to try for hybrids.

I don't think so, I think it only works with Diamond but you never know it could... nobody has reported it yet.

I have had loads of attempts at Easter, mainly got Firestorm or Eagle, but now I have got 2 Mythic's in a row, its just mad, Still not got a Scorpion one so that might come up next. I have switched to trying to get something else for a turn, and I think I have a Super which is also cool. BTW For Easter attempts I have been sticking with the Red/Yellow combo, and for the super I had Red with black.

Do you have Kite? If not try a Pink/Yellow combo... Before, I got Honeybee, Mythic & Easter with that. Don't use Yellow/Red combo, it's like the den knows what you wants.. Try to trick it ;)

Don't worry about the goal... it's only 800 coins and 6 xp lol

Exactly. However, Right Heart, Passion and Four Leaf should go before Easter.

Maybe... you should have a break from Easter, go for something else you need but keep red/yellow in the den. Say you need Mirage, use red/yellow/blue. If you want to continue red/yellow, breed your last 2 fails together if you have the evolved forms. This is what I do and I get the dragon I need doing that within a few tries.

Mind you it was a 7am dragon time retry. I am starting to think they have a quota of how many times a dragon can be bread in one day. So the early bird gets the worm kind of thing. I got my last 3 LEs this way too.

I am close to 20 fails. I have been playing this game for a while now and even though I am getting annoyed with the amount of tries it's taking, the only way to have it is to keep trying. This is a seasonal dragon that will become limited one day. I wouldn't mess around trying for something else because once it gets the timer, it's only 4 days, and 4 days without gold to speed anything up, generally means 8 breedings only.
I have been using Eagle + Firestorm, Diamond + Mythic and now Crusader and Mythic. Hang in there and good luck to all that still need to catch the Bunny :)

If you are right, then it may be bred in the den as we're talking. I woke up around 3 am this morning and knew that my dragons were done breeding, so I put them back in the den again and got another 12 hours. Let's see if your theory works...*fingers crossed*

Me too, I was now like an idiot trying to make this darn eastern dragon, 3 weeks no diff breedings, which makes me feel exhausted tired etc. No eastern dragon at all, so what? Even not and rewared as goal is gone.

It is really frustrating, yes. I took a break to get the Dawn Tree dragon to boost my morale because I am getting frustrated with that Easter too. I don't want to buy it so I am going to have to get back to it as it may become limited soon.

If you were to buy gold, I would simply suggest you use it to fund the 500g needed to purchase the Easter Dragon.
Sadly, no such luck with me either. I've switched in plain old Fire and Air combo. Been trying Mythic and Scorpion but that wasn't doing me much.

Sorry you havent had much luck either... I tried with Scorpion and Eagle, Fire and air, but nothing happened. When I initially brought the gold, I thought that I would spend approximately 100g trying to get the dragon, and I can use the rest for other things. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I kept on trying and ended up using all of my gold. It made me feel so sick. I will pass on paying for the dragon, don't have it in me to purchase any more gold from this game. In fact, this Easter Dragon is just giving me very bitter feelings at the moment ^o^

I read a couple people got Easter with Fireworks and Forestfire.
Really, I'm hesitant to try that combination because of the wide variety of results, but after trying so many different red/yellow combos, I'm really willing to try anything.
In 8 hours time I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

I have been trying to get Easter since they put a timer on Cupid... I got mythic along the way but that's all about it. It's so annoying. It's so hard to get the new dragon on my iPad but easy on my iPhone...

Kindda sucky the breeding times are the same as a firestorm.. Keeps ur hopes up for half a day only to dash it at the end..

I got this one accidentally when I was trying for the Mythic. I think the combo was Bumblebee and Scorpion. I got Mythic later too and would've called myself lucky if I wasn't forever stuck trying and failing for the Infinity (I got Four Leaf trying for Infinity and the only thing I felt was "Darn! Another failed breed.")

Another.eagle.argh. I now have 70 small rubies and 50 small topaz in storage from the trading ! Ok following above suggestion i try firestorm honeybee combo next. I actually did not try breeding with firestorm.... Tried fire, air, topaz, ruby, scorpions, eagle, honeybee, pumpkin... But not firestorm. We'll see. I'm going to be so glad to breed something else !

Finally, got it with same combo as you, thanks to ur post, decide to try firestorm x fire and after 4 tries I got it. Cant believe, after at least 22 eagles, 20firestorms, 9 mythics, 1 scorpion, I finally got it, uhuhhuh, happy dance :)

Is the timer accurate? If it is, I still have a final try, about 6 hours more for my current breed.. Tried Firestorm + Fire, and I got an Eagle.. =.= Dat's worse den a firestorm fail..

Still no luck - i've tried various combos of red/yellow and hybrid breeding, and received about 50 firestorms (probably more), 1 scorpion, 1 eagle, 2 mythics and 1 honeybee. last attempt is in the den now, with a 12hr breed. probably another firestorm...

Last shot at dat wascal wabbit: Gold, Air, Eagle. Da-dee-da-dee-da-deee- dat's all, folks!

With 4 hours left, I sped up my Diamond-Mythic pair in the den (24hrs left on their 44hr session because they FINALLY decided not to do a useless 12hr breed. Talk about timing.)
24 gold to finish up what turned out to be Gold. (Yay! Could easily have been Crusader.)
2 gold to speed up the Air they dropped next.
14hr breed on the next (current) session. I don't have 14 gold to throw at another Eagle, so that's it for me.

What is your combo?

I've been using fire and air, been through about 25 firestorm, and speed breed with 1-3 hours, or wait for 12 hours for most of them, it was the last 3 (two in nest and 1 breeding ) that I speeded up the full 12 hours with 12 gold each, one nest and the breeding due to only a few hours left, now my easter is in the nest count down from 12 hours.

There is no waste for me, I throw all the firestorm into the trade portal, just short of 2 rubies and I can get my ruby dragon.

I have a question, my easter egg is in the nest count down from 10 hours, will this hatch successfully even when the official count down for the easter bunny is finished in about less than 3 hours..

Any chance if I have a 12 hour breed right now that I could get an Easter egg after the timer runs out since I just threw them together now? Or should I speed it and have it in the nest just to make sure? I've been trying for so long!!!! At least 50+ tries with many different combos. Final combo I tried was Firestorm + Eagle.
