The Moon Dragon is Dragon Story's 100th Dragon! To celebrate, we've increased the number of winners for the contest to 100 winners!


When the Second Sun has set, this creature's pale glow is often mistaken for the moon itself. Caretakers are lured by its gravitas in the sky. Its exceptionally strong wings make it able to fly at high altitudes. Careful, should you decide to see just how high the Moon Dragon can go! While Dragons may fare well in thinner atmospheres, Caretakers may find themselves short of air. Moon Dragons are delightful guardians of the sky and can keep an eye on distant incoming intruders.

Very interesting dragon! Love that we'll have a mostly white dragon that we can house on the black sands habitat. LOVE the contrast!

I just realized that there's no way to get the moon to epic by 03/31 with no gold. How many hours gone just try to get it. And then 31 hours each for breeding, hatching, and 3 evolutions. That's more than 5 days already... Just make sure you don't spend more than 500 I guess... Lol
Oh! Forgot to say I got it in my breeding den. 3rd time attempt with dark lvl 4 and light lvl 7.
Should I speed it up? 31 gold... >.<

I got mine using Angel and Night on 3rd try, got coral then winter then moon! It is 31 hours so I rushed it through and is on nest now. So back to trying for Dark Angel :( seems I just can't get that one.

First attempt actually netted me an Aether dragon on my 2nd account and a luck dragon on this account. Will keep trying for this one for a bit as I like the possibility.

Yeah, but that's only for those people who got the beta test of the dragon quests which isn't available to everyone just yet, so the samurai dragon doesn't count as the official 100th dragon. Moon dragon as it's available to everyone and on all platforms, is the official 100th dragon.

Well, I thought I'd give it a try. Sped up my island and bred light and night. And, got 31 hrs. Yahoo. Moon. Now if I could only get the other dark hybrids this easily.

You are right! You can't get to level 10 without speeding up! How disappointing!

Tried night lvl7 x white epic, got hypnotic (wanted that for ages), then switched them around to light x night....got 31 hrs :D

Four-leaf wasn't easy for me, but then I haven't tried but twice to get it. I've to busy with the black hybrids and I only have 1 btw. Made 2 attempts so far for moon while waiting for my first diamond to finish hatching. 1st try night broke down to base elements and magic got mixed with light for like my 10th luck, now on my second attempt I got a 10 hr breeding time so I assume night broke down to it's base elements again and they mixed to make coral. These black dragons are so annoying.

I don't think I can enter the special event, don't have enough time to hatch it unless I use gold.

This contest lasts for 3 days. The breeding alone takes 62 hours. 72-62: 10 hours, considering you get it first time. Obviously, that is no where near enough to fully evolve without gold.

A little help. I just now put a level 10 light and a level 7 night in the breeding den trying for a moon. I got a 14 hour breeding time. What could that be? It's not an eagle or mist. It can't be a flower or leopard. It can't be illusion, because if the black broke down there wouldn't be a purple and black to combine. I hate to do it, but I may have to break down and speed it up, but I'd have to get the mask or luck dragon off the nests first.
