I was waiting around for the update this afternoon, and when I collected from my castle I got one of the mystery boxes. I was hoping for Alicorn parts, but got an even bigger surprise. It's called a pumpkin hutch. Decorative only, can't collect from it, no royal points that I noticed, but it's pretty cute. :)

Before,It required 3 enchanted blocks and 3 enchanted beams and 2 architect's pastes for the lv1,but now it requires 2 enchanted blocks,2 enchanted beams,and 2 architect's pastes. It's still not easy,so I not yet plan to upgrade them...too costly

Let alone besides of enchanted beams and blocks it used to only require 4 simple glues for built it,but a few months ago,it started to demand 2 architect's pastes. Lucky enough I have enough cathedrals for use :) but a big misery for starters.

Awww, the new building is 120 gems. The bench looks small for 20 gems. Wonder if it can be crafted? I have something being made right now. Thankfully ive stocked up on a lot of items, so making the four architect paste should be easy, minus the four hours needed. The 8 beams and blocks will be a problem. Very time comsuming.

We will be putting out the next content update for Castle Story sometime in early March. (Hopefully the end of the first week.) As always, I wanted to give you a sneak peak of some of the fun things we have planned.

You can tell if an item is constructable by viewing the picture in the market. If there is a small crate in the lower right hand corner next to the question mark then its a constrcutable item. Also, the architect paste takes 8 hours to construct.

There are no plans to open additional expansions in March, but new expansions will probably be opened in April as part of an update that will add a new character and associated quests and storyline.

Ivy's hut was the worst while I worked on getting glimmerdust :( Also, can anyone confirm that the 4 simple glue needed to build the cathedral has changed to 2 architect's paste instead? If so, I better get cracking on those mermaid scales and more glimmerdust!!!

Isnt it your choice to build many duplicate buildings ? If you choose to play this way then you cant complain. Honestly i dont have much money to spend on games but i have "sense" enough so i didnt maxed out on buildings and in the same time i got every buildings.

I feel the same way. I'm expanded as much as possible for level 30 and my space is crowded enough as it is. I'm excited about the buildings but would be happier if there were expansions too, especially because there are still buildings in the woods that have been there from the beginning of the game that serve no purpose yet.

Couldnt have said it better. None of the buildings with royal points cost real money. They just took time and effort, collecting, making and building. We dont lose anything special out of our lives by selling one, to build another. It isnt that serious. It a game for fun makes you that heated, rethink its position, not the game itself. I just have two market places, two cathedrals and two of the other buildings needed for crafting. I had to store two building to make space. Now if I had to sell a cathedral to make space for a new cuter building, oh well.

Did they not say numerous times that more will come next month? Storylines, characters, decor, the works, etc. If we didnt get this small release we would still be complaining about being finished with everything the valentine version had to offer. I have every building under the moon available. Every animal, tree, water ponds, mushrooms, etc. Im not fully expanded yet still found space for the new building.

So when folks say they dont like this, cant or wont do that for lack of space, Im puzzled. Just make some!

I gave in and bought the royal manor. Thankfully the parts needed is simple. I have over 30 trees collecting dust, so Ill have to waste energy to get rid of them. id just decorated, now ai need to do it again!

The carriage is adorable. But I dont see how it could cost more than the manor. Its too rich for my blood. The baron and thurston can ride on the cows for now. I refuse!

It would be interesting to see how many SAP the sneaky developers expect us to harvest crafting glues and various beams etc... I wouldn't be surprised if it numbers over 500... In tree terms at 25% drop rate... Over 200 trees are gonna have to die to build these things up. Hehe.. I think they are trying to tell us that tree chopping is the most exciting thing to do on castle story :-)

Dead tree or old log are the way to go. No tending required. Guaranteed wood each chop with a chance of Glimmerdust.

I don't know because I just got 3 gems today from searching the ancient vault...I never get anything much useful from adventures, it's my 2nd time that I'm getting gems. Maybe TL has reduced the gem drop rateI've also been searching for wing and horn since ages. Adventures never prove useful for me

I'm still getting them fairly regularly from the dark cave adventure. Sir piggles also gave 5 today. I've had periods when they don't seem to drop and then ones when they seem to. Hope your luck improves.

Store them has no use,you need to sell one to get another... They have annoying building limits

It doesn't require that much creativity to come up with a quest saying why we need to buy them and upgrade them (something about Sir Swagger performing ;) and the main character needed a place to rest after all the work or a place for the evil Baron to stay while visiting), usually we win some gold and some experience and it makes us happy and close to characters. I built those buildings, I updated the manor to level 10, I'm collecting furs for the theater upgrade, but no excitement here, it's just like putting a decoration which additionally doesn't pay that well comparing to the cost. Please guys, more story in the expansions!

Overgrown Bench. It looks very similar to wood bench, but is still different. Cant be crafted, nor bought, only get thru adventures.

You are right. One of the benches, nearest to the amphitheater in the team lava blog looks different. It could be the overgrown bench.

Noticed that now we need fur to build amphitheater, the little critters aren't giving them up...at all. I probably slayed 100 of them over the course of 5 days and Nothing. Curious as to why this would suddenly be unavailable, now that it's required. I know that neighbors can send them, but typically do not unless you beg. Hope y'all fix this little glitch. For me it seems that since the update more rare things drops from adventures. I play on 2 accs, and almost every morning one of my adventures finishes with a box. So far I got 2 carriages, One bench, one pumpkin thing and a Campfire.

Thats the reason why I dont dare to buy too many royal buildings. With a limit of 24 royal buildings at level 30, that is only enough for 2-3 of each royal buildings. Now with more royal buildings coming in the updates, I think there is only enough for 1-2 per building types. I might need to sell some of my extra towers soon.

Why they count stored buildings? In other games we can store as many ovens/pets/... as we like.
How we suppose to decorate our kingdoms by theme?
I sold dozens of grey walls to make my kingdom pink for Valentine's.
Now the holiday is over so I have to sell all my pink walls, gates and towers to change the theme or stick to it forever (so tired of pink already).

Sell a couple of towers (watch ot lantern) so you can build more royal buildings.
