crossbreeding and a unavailable animal

If I put the bear into crossbreeding, the other side will show a shamrock animal (I think it was a monkey or bear, now I can't remember). It will say buy, I click on it and try to place it. It won't let me. Is this a glitch?

I think this happened because teamlava removed all 2012 theme animals such as rhetorically Easter bunny animals and st. Patricks'sday items,by the way,it was a shamrock gorilla.I'm sorry to tell yout that you neither ca buy nor can crossbreed the lucky bear.Too bad!

It still gives me the option to crossbreed for 22 gems. I don't have the gems to see if it will actually go through.
