Its on your home screen, in the upper right hand corner. It lets you win 1 or 5 gold. If its not there, perhaps its a testing thing again. Like they did the first time around with the gold mine. So much to keep up with.

Its a free spin. But if you want to get more than one try a day, you will have to use gold.

You don't have to hold the button. Just press home and power buttons at the exact same time (click, do NOT hold), and your screen will flash white. Viola, pic should be in your photo album.

Just a thought...those of you who DO have the wheel, do you also have a Treasure Cave? Maybe this is a free option (test?) for those who didn't purchase a treasure cave. I have a cave (paid cash for the gold to buy it) and also bought one when they released them the second time. I just did my update and I don't have anything new. I like the cave but I would like the wheel as well. It's really unfair to offer these things to such a limited number of players. And if it is just a beta test then TELL US THAT! Communication from TL is atrocious! They'd save themselves lots of negative comments if they'd keep players informed!

I'm going to reply to my own post and say that in digging around....and I do mean DIGGING...I saw a post in the boost breed thread that mentioned that TL is doing some beta testing on all these new features. I think that is FANTASTIC. However, why not tell us that?! Jake mentioned that giving a little info creates too much confusion. I do not see how giving us a little teaser about something could possibly create more confusion than THIS! Honestly, the lack of communication from TL, or at the very least the lack of ORGANIZING that info (if it is indeed out there somewhere) is costing you players! I have seen many of my neighbors quitting the game recently and I have given very serious thought to quitting myself. Jake, it's like a movie trailer...give us a sneak peak and then we can have something to look forward to. Anything must be better than this...

I don't think anyone's proposing it become a permanent feature only to those who got to trial it. We know we were just a test group, and our feedback is - yes it's awesome, introduce it into the game. We want to share the spin the wheel love and certainly think we were lucky to be testers :)

So far I have only gotten the boosted breed. BUT I haven't used it at all because it asks for 50 GOLD. Then again if it wanted apples or 500k coins I still wouldn't have used it. Need apples for starved dragons.

There is 22 hrs between spins. If you buy an opportunity to spin before that time is up for a little gold, there's still 22 hrs til the next spin. So what this takes is a bit of planning. Take your free spin, then if you want an extra spin, take it AFTER your free spin, then the timer is only interrupted by a minute or two.

Take your free spin, then if you want an extra spin, take it AFTER your free spin, then the timer is only interrupted by a minute or two.

I just can't stop playing this... so far, 2 Dream dragons, 1000 food 3 times, a few maps, 1 gold... and wait for it!! .... 1000 gold :D

There is no secret to it, you just spin the wheel and with luck you could win like I did. I have it for 5 more days and I'll use an extra spin after my free spin but I doubt I'll get lucky again. Goodluck.

Exactly, it's not clear what the odds are, but due to the graphics of a wheel with equal sized chunks it's fair that people will assume the odds. I DID get excited by the wheel spin feature, but it's just another route to the same old tired tricks of gold trapping.
I'd rather it was actually fun, a game that gave some new facts about a dragon as a prize, a new picture of an existing dragon on a quest.

I showed a few friends the wheel etc. and they were shocked that android didn't have these features.. they have only been playing for a few weeks and some of them have bought gold for the second nest and have said they won't buy anymore gold until they can enjoy the wheel and the rest.

The wheel is ok, not a big deal..not really needed. The boosted breed doesn't really do much either (fiancee has had both of them). fun to try to get 1000 gold, but feedback suggests the game is rigged judging from some of the comments on the spin the wheel thread.

I think this is currently a rotating feature. Some users get it for a short time, then a different set of users get it for a short time, etc. It's not clear if it will be a regular part of the game. Kinda like the treasure cave, it gives you some benefit while it's there...but gone after a time and may return at a later date.

I've also noticed it spinning faster when it should be slowing down. Also, when it appears to all most stop, it speeds up again for a few seconds. Pretty good sign its rigged big time.
