missing gems now I want to quit

I had 32 gems yesterday when I woke up today I only had 16. I only had two ovens out which were the jazz oven and I didn't spend them by accidentally speeding up beignets. I look through my inventory and I didn't accidentally buy gem decor. All the other silly glitches this game and this company has caused has never bothered me to this degree I seriously wanna quit
