I actually LOVE Restaurant Story. I know it has most of the same game issues and level problem as other TL games but the only other one I play is Bakery. Bakery upped the recipe prices in September last year and now it is a chore for me. Just seeing these new recipe pics from the new oven makes me happy! Recipes that are short and cost hundreds not thousands to make = happy player :-D

I think it is fair. I hope they dont change this. Especially since this problem arises for people everytime we have goals. I always read threads with people having this problem. I figured it was just too bad or spend gems.

Same here. Maybe we had leftover eggs from some previous goals. I dont really dont recall.

Dont worry. We didnt spend any gems. I spend my gems immediatley now since i lose so many by accident. I used to save them up for appliances but i think 32 appliance slots is enough.

I was an idiot and bought enough cherry wallpaper to cover my entire shop before the quest and didn't have enough gems to just buy my way out of it. Thank goodness TL gave an out for that. You don't have to sell your appliances. Just storage those basic stoves etc. and buy a drink machine.

I have a MAJOR problem!! I didnt know about the goal and i bought the wallpaper for my whole restaurant. Now i have come to the goal where you need to buy this wallpaper, i had expanded my restaurant so i was able to buy 2 more, but the goal needs me to buy 8 and i cannot anymore, coz all my walls are already decorated with that wallpaper. what do i do?

Others were having same problem with chocolate milk not appearing on recipe menu on drink machine. They were able to fix it by closing out and restarting game app. Hope that helps!

Thanks cuppajava! Had my duh!!moment. The drink machine is a juicer -:))) so now I am frantically sending requests for materials and parts...me think after this week's goal is completed, I'll be having an early spring clean. All these neighbours and not a single screw or nozzle

Thanks cuppajava! Had my duh!!moment. The drink machine is a juicer -:))) so now I am frantically sending requests for materials and parts...me think after this week's goal is completed, I'll be having an early spring clean. All these neighbours and not a single screw or nozzle


I know! So many neighbors, im declining what I dont need and even with requests im only getting ONE machine built per day. And then I have to ask for silly eggs. I wish I knew what the dragon looked like up close to see if I should keep checking the game so much, to count my parts.

I delete neighbours who give me food, it's really frustrating even though I tell them loads of times not to send me foods, not worth the hassle of finding them and sending them food too xD I'm quite lucky that I have enough neighbours who gift me new parts each week and I do the same for them unless they ask me for something else =D
I'm a bit stuck now goal-wise. Need 14 eggs, as well as finish my second ice cream machine! Already filled up my gifts and requests because I thought I needed the origami paper first doh xD

Yeah...I have a feeling some of my neighbours decline my request..I once sent out exactly 20 requests when I hadn't sent any out for a few days just to be sure I didn't have outstanding ones and only got about 15 parts. =/ I try to request from the same neighbours that have shown on my newsfeed to have helped, but obviously not all of them show up.

(I don't think there is one specifically for new parts people xD) If it was regularly updated on the first post with an alphabetical list of names who gift new parts when they come out (and regular parts the rest of the time) it would make it easier for people to find good neighbours, especially for goals. :)

Have you completed the first few part of the goals yet? I remember getting the action lee ice cream machine unlocked after completing step 3 or 4. Just refer to the first post for guide.

Hi. I'm having problems with this Goal as well. I was doing well, finished Step 1 (The Fallen Champion) and was working my way through Step 2: completed 10 corned beef hash and had cooked/brewed about 3 of the 10 chocolate milk required and then it disappeared and then jumped to Step 4 so I'm guessing that until I finish Step 2 (step 3 already done) that I won't be able to get the Action Chef Stove?

@Sunnydays612: You will need to unlock the action lee ice cream machine first then the action chef stove next. Just refer to the first post for the guide.

@redcardqueentara: You don't need to spend gems for the Penjing Trees. Just follow the first post for the guide and complete them. The tree will be unlock and available for purchase once you have completed the necessary goals.

@Cyphoria: Try this trick. Purchase any wallpaper.

I think the requests and gifts are separate - you can receive 20 max gifts per day, and also receive 20 parts through requests. so if things work out nicely you can receive a total 40 parts/day

Iam just wondering what is the difference if someone requests a part ?.......they do not come out if your parts every one can gift 20 people and get 20 gifts a day and when they request parts they do not interfere with gifts YOU SHOULD BE accepting all material requests.....if not then you may not understand the game..ps I have a high number and there still are times I need food....although I don't usually give French toast its not the end of the world...just a thought

I give up. Its impossible for me to finish at this point unless I spend it all out in gems. Such a bummer that it has taken me so long to get parts to get anything built. I am still waiting on parts. I could use some good neighbors who actually send parts that are needed and not so focused on who tipped who. I tip back all the time and then some but seriously, I need some parts. Its a easy fix but you just need more nbs that are more active at gifting and send out a parts request vs writting on the wall i need so and so part. accepting all parts or at least all regular parts when your not making appliances seems funny but when you decide you want to make a stove you wont need to wait for the parts either.

I hope Team Lava will bring back a chance to get the Action Stove and the Action Ice Cream. It's a shame they just sit there and new players can't get them. It would be nice if you could re-open a goal with gems or something. There must be a way they could offer a chance to people who missed them.

Maybe they'll make it like the bread oven goals so that when you hit a certain level it will prompt the goals to start. :) (Not holding my breath though, from what I've read it's unlikely.)

Grans boysenberry pie is on the regular oven, you have to scroll all the way to the back of the menu list.

If you store counters or appliances with food on them, you will lose the food.

You need to complete the goals in order to unlock it. You can refer to this thread (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?58382-Bakery-Movie-Goals-9-11-13) for all the information you need. Please note that the goals are expiring soon, so you need to plan wisely. :)
