How do you unlock rainbow?

I finished master botanist which I thought would unlock it but it didn't. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I haven't unlocked it yet but I'm guessing it has to do with Thomas' friend he used to look at rainbows with. I think her name is Agnes? I'm still trying to find old books for her.

It is the Agnes quest line that unlocks the rainbow.

Thanks! That's the one I've been putting off since it needs so much ore. I've been using ore for other things, guess I will redirect my efforts.

When you get part 4 of the quest.
You should collect Thomas' house before collecting library.
By doing that, you'll have a high chance to get old book.
Just a high chance, not 100% ;)

okay....so I'm having an issue then b/c mine never unlocked and I finished the agnes goal yesterday...trying the whole restart thingy and the delete and re-download if need be. ugh. Thx though this was helpful.
