I am about to get the new ipad so I thaught I would no more need the old ipad so I am about to give to someone...I want to know if both the new ipad and the old one are required for transferring or I can just transfer after noting down the udid and other details of the old ipad

You will need both devices if you want to transfer yourself.

You can email support@teamlava.com (support@teamlava.com) and they can transfer your games.

If you have already set up a new storm ID on your new device, you will not be able to transfer yourself.

I would advise using the storm 8 transfer. Once you set the password in your old device, then you can give it away.
