Irish wolfhound?

So I was trying to breed my Scotty dog and it says the only thing I can breed it with is an Irish wolfhound. It gave me and option to buy it and I had the coins so I said yes but then when I tried to place it, the game wouldn't let me. Why is that exactly? I also checked to see if I could just buy the Irish wolfhound from the market and he is not even offered, not even as a goal or collection. So what does that mean? Was he removed and if so why is their still an option to breed the Scotty dog with him? :confused:

Unfortunately, the Irish Woldhound was a limited time pet that was introduced during St. Patrick's last year. That's probably why it isn't in the market for purchase any longer. Maybe the option to still purchase shouldn't be available, but the breeding option should remain for those who have the two dogs but maybe didn't have the 8 gems or haven't gotten around to that combination yet.
