How do you get stuff out of storage?

Can someone tell me how to get stuff out of storage? I've tried everything I can think of but can't do it? Is it level-dependent or something?

The items you place in storage are available from the Inventory treasure chest found in the Marketplace button. When you choose Inventory, make sure you are on the All tab and you will be able to see everything you have collected and everything you have put in storage. Pick the item (building, plant, animal, etc) you want to take out of storage and you will be able to place it somewhere in your kingdom.
