How do I move items to a different level?

Please don't tell me I have to buy new!

I have tried everything but I can not move anything to areas I have cleared on different levels. Empty habitats won't move off their level.

Is there something I am missing?

no, u sort of have to jump it over. it takes some tries sometimes. move the habitat that u want to move to the other island so it is in the screen at the same time as the island u want to move it on. keep dragging it hun :-) u will get it

Don't lift your finger off the habitat. Keep your finger on it, then drag in the direction that you want to move it to.

You need a steady finger. Its irritating but you have to drag the item towards the edge of your screen in the direction you wish to move it. If your finger touches the side of your iPad/phone it will move back to its original spot
