Lost my expansion, lanterns and $50k

Spent 2 days accumulating 7 lanterns to expand. And, when I spent $50k plus the time, the expansion lasted less than 2 minutes, and is now gone along with my payment. I deleted and reinstalled the game but still have the loss. Can this be restored?
I'm mired than a little ticked.
