Reward energy - is it a bug?

Trying to get the alicorn so adventuring as much as possible but there seems to be a bug with the energy I get as a reward. It never seems to show up.

Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?

Energy reward from adventure doesn't stack with original energy.
If you have 29 energy left after finishing adventure,
you only get 1 more (from 29 to 30 energy).
Hope this is your prob.
P/s: energy refill from Sir Piggy is the same.
Try to use all energy before take it.

After collecting the reward energy from a quest, try fully exiting the app and restarting it. Hopefully your energy will show up :)
