for all levels 9 to 10 is 50k total--the same as the Topaz dgagon --thank god I had 1.2 million food saved up

23hrs with epic diamond & epic wizard. 1st try.
Bred it on the original DS for android. Noticed that we have 40 habitats now.

Gosh. I tried to get. A coral. To breed night. Dragon. So breed magic with water. And ended up. With 23 hour. Breeding. Night. How cool was that. Lol.

Oh boo! But then again, i shouldnt see that as a bad thing. Ill try to save what i dont like and put it in to trade. But the headaches will be in abundance with the splitting.

Well, the only horrid "fails" are Titans and Corals.
Wizards are a cool dragon, and the Super Rares obviously trade for some good stuffs. But Titans are mean. 32 hours. Ooooouch.

Charm, Planet, Titan, Athletic, Magic, Coral, Wizard, Mistmoth, Aether, or finally, Goblin!

Wow I got lucky first try aether drsgon( didn't have) and second time boom 23 hrs
First try with Coral and Aether - Wizard. That's ok as I don't have one yet, but 23 hrs before I can try again :( Guess it gives me time to save the $2mil for a habitat :)

I think i'm the only dummy trying to get all the goals. I didn't know until I found the forum for ds thati couldn't get all the goals because I have the android version. Can anyone tell me what goals I can't get because of this? Had I known I would've never had started. Now I'm level 94 and shocked I can't get all the dragon's. Can I get a wizard or mermaid dragon? Tried to get a gold and infinity for months; is it even possible on android?

5 habitats. That person probably wasn't the required level to use 40 habitats

Black/green for hunter. The goblin is super rare that's why. Someone spent 1k gold without getting it
I think I have bred a Night Dragon...Epic Aether and Epic Coral 23 hours,but the strange thing is I was breeding an epic infinity and epic light to try for an Angel and started getting Fire dragon eggs by the dozen!!!! So I decided to try the coral/ aether combo to see if it happened with them and if it was a game glitch and have ,it appears bred a Night dragon first go! If it is one, I'm definitely not complaining. Very weird though.
I would suggest you all look at the overview page before selling off anythiing.. I can now have 40 habitats..

I was waiting all day to breed this dragon and I was getting nervous about what two dragons I should use to breed it. I kept seeing people saying they used Aether and coral but in the end I went with the basic, Water + Magic = 23hrs on the first try. :-) so happy I really wanted this one.

Just paired Poe (Night dragon) with Forest, as I read that Hunter is black and green. Have a 16 hr egg in the Temple. What it is ... I don't know, but not what I wanted. LOL

Couldn't stand not knowing, so I sped it and it's in the nest. At first it was an unfamiliar egg, but then changed to Serpent. :(

First try coral. Second try night. Is an adorable dragon. Also when you evolve it the top of the temple goes black. :)
Success at getting Night dragon on 1st/2nd try does not apply to me. Reality is quite different as I know other DS players with same issue. I combined Diamond / Aether and only got Night at 6th attempt or so. Good luck to all of you!

I get all of them. I was surprised that the hunter dragon was way harder to have than the gobblin. I tried more than twenty times for the hunter dragon (supposed to be only rare) and only five times for the gobblin dragon (a super rare). Weird !

I got it on the second try on android. First blend, water ans wizard. It gave me aether. Second try with pures and night dragon is in the nest. Now i just need to make 500,000 for the nest!

I got the night dragon on the first try. I bred a coral (Merl-lvl.7) and a wizard (Neptune-lvl.7) dragon. 23 hrs of breeding and hatching time.

breeding time is 23 hrs. try to breed coral and wizard. i got lucky and got it the first time. i dont know about the habitata tho. I'm still saving up for that. :-)

I was getting Coral too. I was playing the original Dragon Story. Honestly I am sick of the pink. I switched over to the Valentine's Edition and got it right away. I just used Water and Magic, both epic. Hope that helps!

The gem cluster decorations. And you can purchase more. If you're on android you'll have to send an email to get it. There's a sticky thread on it.

I am reading that it may be possible to breed a night dragon by breeding water and magic? Can anyone confirm this? I would like to have one but don't want to have to pay 600 gold for one.

Don't worry, you will eventually get night, as it is only a rare. :) pink is FIRE and LIGHT. Breed those two together, and if you get a pink, the timer will say 33 hours. You can also get love (5hours), tusker (21h), laserlight (15h) . Good luck!

I read from someone that they got their night dragon by breeding Leftheart and Super. I tried it and it worked! I hope this helps!
My night dragon just appeared through random breeding, now when I try to breed with this dragon it only breeds as if it is a blue dragon is anyone else having this problem?

A Night Dragon is made up of Blue and Purple elements, and when it breeds, it can split into them causing it to something breed like a Water, Magic or Coral dragon.

I just got 23 hours with magic/water.. not what I was expecting! I've been trying for mistmoth for a week and have managed 3 wizards, 2 corals, a couple magics and now the night dragon. Not complaining. :)

I was quite happy to breed a Night Dragon.
Now I am trying to breed him further, but no mixtures with black come forth. I bred my Night Dragon (black) with a Magic Dragon (Purple) - both level 8.
And I got a Coral Dragon (purple / blue). How's that possible, there was no blue in the breeding at all? Is this a bug?

no, the night dragon splits in breeding....almost ALL THE TIME. it is frustrating. night breaks down to blue/purple which is where your blue is coming from :-) keep trying

My water dragons are at 6 and 7 and magic is at 4 and 6 and so far nothing with those. I've also tried breeding my corals and wizards directly, but nothing yet.

Is night unlocked in your market? If so then just keep on trying.

I do wish it only split 50% of the time, that seems fair to me, with so many different splitting elements, it's just impossible to breed them all with such a high probability of splitting. I'm guessing right now there is probably a 70% chance of split, though with really long fails, it feels like a lot more than that...

I've tried breeding my Night Dragon with probably 15-20 different partners. Some of them have been repeats, just trying to get ANY half-breed with Dark (or is the breed called Night?) in it.
Lately, I've been doing research to see what I can breed with my Night Dragon, how many total outcomes there are, and what % of those are half Dark. Going to be trying that plan next unless someone has some better insight for me, please and thank you.

In my research (where I looked at probably 30-40 different combos of Night + another Dragon to see how many of their possible offspring would be half Dark...
Turns out that the best Dragons to breed with the Night Dragon are Dragons that are Water and Magic mixed, such as Coral, Seafarer, and Godmother. If every possible outcome had an equal chance (and I know that isn't the case...but if it was) then there would be a 40% chance every time a Night + Water/Magic Dragon are bred together, you'll get something that's half Dark.
And for me, that's all I care about at the moment. I've had 3 Big Black Sands and two Night Dragons for way, way too long.

Hi tbetoug...I know that black dragons are very difficult to breed. I've been playing for years and still have a list of ones that I just can't seem to get. I try to treat them the same way I've treated Diamond Hybrids; I'll add the dark (or diamond) element into another combo that I'm trying for. I know that increases the possible outcomes, but most of the elusive dragons I've gotten in the past have been a 'fail' result. Good luck, I hope you get many black dragons soon :)
