ok i know i ask lots of questions, but how can i get a new door? Do i have to be a certain level, does it cost gems or money.? Trying to learn the important things of the game, love helpful info.. Thank you.

An extra door cost 10 gems you'll find it in the wall section of decor tab. Don't remember lvl just look and see if it's locked item.

The design tab lower right corner on your screen with hammer. Wall tab has clock on it.
